"Complete Psychiatry &medical care is known for delivering excellent and high quality healthcare services to all its clients. Very professional."
"Dr Hope sees a family member and they have a good working relationship. She empowered him to understand his treatment plan and set goals for himself. I will strongly recommend her."
"I am disheartened by the response that I got from Dr. Hope and I want to warn anyone seeking treatment to go elsewhere especially if it’s for ADHD. Backstory: I reached out to multiple psychiatrist via psychology today looking to start treatment after being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. After having a bad experience with another psychiatrist prior to my diagnosis I decided that with my new diagnosis that I wanted to find a new psychiatrist that I could trust and be comfortable with. I was initially going to see the psychiatrist at the center that diagnosed me but I hadn’t heard back from them since my diagnosis and the therapist that diagnosed me told me during the assessment that it takes a while to see the psychiatrist there and that he could forward me my diagnosis if I didn’t want to wait. When I reached out to this particular establishment expressing everything I said up there and explaining that I was anxious to start treatment (I just got a new job and I’ve been struggling and I don’t want to lose it) Dr. hope responded by saying that they dont treat with stimulants at this time. I never asked for a stimulant AT ALL. I asked for help. I’ve done an extensive amount of research and I know that there’s non stimulant medication out there that could help with adhd symptoms. Dr. Hopes response felt very presumptuous and was just another blow to this up hill battle I’ve had trying to be heard and taking serious about my mental health. For these reason I would NOT recommend Dr. Hope or this establishment. I’ve posted about this on instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. I’m tired of these people thinking it’s ok to be dismissive in this way. Dr. Hope did not know me or the state of mind I was in before they responded. Do better next time. Update to response: In my response to the email and even here I made it clear that the reason why I was looking for a new psychiatrist is because I didn’t trust the one I originally seen. She gave me a 30 day supply of medication with no refills and I’m trying to find and get established with a new doctor before I run out.because it says not to just abruptly stop taking the medication. Why? Idk but I’m going to listen. Also, you just admitted that you made an ASSUMPTION because “most adults want stimulants” you don’t know me or what I want. Other providers don’t have anything to do with my frustration with you. Im only responding to how you responded to me. So my response is properly placed on a professional who made an assumption based on 99.9% of your patients wanting stimulants. Lastly I never stated I had a consultation with you. We couldn’t even get to that point because you were dismissive because”most adults want stimulants”. I want whatever a reliable trusted doctor tells me I’m supposed to have. I posted the short interaction I had with you which makes this a legitimate review of you and your company and I’m letting anyone whose trying to find a new psychiatrist know that you’re probably not the best option since you assume/judge before you even really speak to anyone. The right response should’ve been “ I’m not prescribing stimulants for ADHD right now are you still interested?” Thank you."
