"The staff at Hillside was great. We picked Hillside because of Dr. Kumar M.D., but she only sees new patients. We did our follow up lab work review with NP Robert Hernandez. NP Robert Hernandez needs more experience in understanding different diseases. He needs to be aware of why lab values have ranges. He did not feel a need to refer my husband to a Urologist to review his high PSA score, because he felt his PSA level was ok, even though it was out of range. I had to push for the Urology referral. Long story short, my husband was diagnosed with Prostate cancer. Luckily we have caught it early, because we followed up with a Dr. Matthew Rogers M.D. Urology of San Antonio. I do not feel comfortable referring anyone to Hillside Primary Care if NP Robert Hernandez is going to be providing care to patients."
