"UPDATE: I got a voicemail from ModernAccupuncture AFTER a week of my requests, ignored calls and after my review. Not even the front desk girl could answer my calls or call me back? Like I said before, just please reimburse the unused sessions and add ons for all 3 of us. Not interested in doing business with you guysanymore. ORIRGINAL: I was loving this place until they started to act very unprofessional. Bought 12 sessions for myself and my senior mom (which I did not know if she would be able to really do based on her other health conditions), based on the information that the then front desk girl Mallorie told us. The sessions were supposed to be transferrable if my mom chose not to continue and Mallorie said that to take advantage of the then lower price, to purchase and could always transfer to another person. The next day I took my boyfriend who purchased 4 sessions. I ended up being the only one loving the sessions and continue to use all my sessions (except of glow add one, which I have extras), and requested to transfer my mom to myself. Maddie said that it has always been policy not to transfer, but as I explained nicely to Maddie, was sold the sessions with a supposedly transfer option. Mallorie at the front is not there anymore, so it is very uncomfortable to be treated as a liar when I am not. I had sent many referrals to them based on my experience getting results with the sessions, including 2 strangers that were near the location and I shared my results and they went in right away and got treatment. So this unprofessional situation really disappointed me. Maddie said she would message Corporate to ask if they could be transferred. I explained to Maddie that I was not lying and my mom and boyfriend were told the same thing. Maddie or the front desk did not call me back and they don't answer any of my calls now. I left them a voicemail the last 2 days (1 voicemail each day). Voicemail 1-Telling them that I was very disappointed and if they did not transfer the other sessions, I would not be going back. Voicemail 2- I told Maddie that since she was not responding to my request, calls and voicemails, I would contact corporate as well. Well, today I contacted "Corporate" in Arizona and they said that they have nothing to do with this location. Since they are each independently owned. Well, not only did Mallorie lie (if she actually lie, Maddie might have been the one lying?) but Maddie lied about contacting "Corporate". At this point, I want them to reimburse the sessions that we did not use, with the extra we paid for Glow. I will also make a complaint with the BBB, because Modern Acupuncture does not even have anywhere that sessions cannot be transferred or reimbursed. They don't even clarify how many sessions you purchased on the receipt that they email or anywhere. They also could not find my boyfriends sessions and the new front desk girl said non were purchased? Maddie: your work is great, but the business ethics lacks big time. I did love your sessions but I will not be treated like a liar and ignored when your business lied to me, does not clarify what a client purchases or the details. You cannot change policies on people like that. Please reimburse unused services."
"Unfortunately this company cares more about their policy than their customers. They want to get all high and might about their appointment calendar and charge a fee if you need to reschedule and can't give sufficient notice. They really need to rethink how they treat customers who they have put on a treatment plan. More flexibility should be granted because things come up. I charge my customers more per session than you guys do, and if one of my customers has to reschedule, an hour's notice is sufficient. Especially if the customer is still agreeing to fill another appointment slot and is on a subscription. I guess you're right, acupuncturists are not very business savvy. Good luck. Smh"

"I love this place, I would give 10 stars if I could. Maddie is the best very knowledgeable, she good at making you relax. It’s not painful at all. One of the things we are working on is I have had pain and stiffness in my neck for at least 7 years. Never without pain. After 3 treatments unexpectedly my pain went away. I’ve been without pain for about 3 weeks. I never imagined this helping with my pain. We are now working on my sleep issues. If your not sure about acupuncture give a shot at least a couple of appointments to see if it works for you."
