"My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Pinkston for years. She is currently on hiatus and Jill is taking care of the practice. Everyone has always been very compassionate and caring. I highly recommend these guys. They have taken very good care of myself and my family."
"Dr. Pinkston family practice is one of the most thorough and caring clinics that I have had the pleasure of being a patient. The entire staff is welcoming and efficient. I would have to say Jill the nurse practioner left no stone unturned in regards inquiry of my medical history and current treatment needs. I appreciate the practice for making me feel like a person not a number in que."
"I have been a new patient for only a few months, and all 3 of my appointments were excellent experiences. I have never waited long to see my provider, plus the staff and doctor gave me lots of time and attention to address my needs. In fact, the thorough evaluation uncovered new treatment options that have changed my life for the better. Thank you Pinkston Family Practice!! I'll be back soon."
"First time visit. I had a bit of a wait but other than that it was pretty decent. It was worth the wait though. I spoke to the student (she was good) Then Dr. Bowman came in and she was so sweet and funny. She took the time to listen to me about my issues. I believe that's what the wait time is about. They actually listen to their patients and give feedback. That can be time consuming I'm sure. Lol I got my prescriptions given to me and I was on my way. I will definitely make this my new pcp!"
"I'm only giving 3 stars to be generous, because the actual people were friendly, but I can't say I would recommend this clinic if you are a person who gets frustrated waiting, or has to deal with the insurance and office staff a lot. I'm already predicting myself having to take a full day off from work for an appointment and having to contact the insurance every time. However, I'm willing to give Dr. Bowman a chance on being my "cheerleader". Understand, she is the ONLY reason I will return to this clinic. I had my first new patient appointment yesterday. Everyone I spoke to was extremely kind however, I'm not satisfied with how the back office portion of this clinic works, they seem very unorganized and not very knowledgeable. I say that knowing full well there is a learning curve especially with insurances. I spent 3 hours at the clinic and most of it was waiting. Front waiting room I waited 45 mins, however I did arrive 20 minutes prior to my appointment. I also filled out the paperwork online before hand. Most of my time was spent waiting in the actual exam room. I had a nurse first take my vitals, then a student doctor, who was very friendly, asked all of the appropriate physical/new patient questions, then had the nurse return for some more vitals, then the NP/PA Bowman, came in and discussed medicines and future plans, and labs. For the labs, they wanted the deductible paid up front, but I wanted to know the pricing for that. So that was a wait. Then they couldn't confirm whether or not that whole total was going to be directly applied to my deductible. So I opted for a req form to take to Quest lab. Then they wanted a deductible for every visit including going over the lab results. When I asked what that cost would be, they said approximately $86. That's a pretty high deductible payment just to read lab results, and because I know how my insurance works, I know I have NO CHARGE when seeing a PCP. So most of my time was spent waiting on them to call the insurance to determine what I had to pay. I then waited another 45 minutes for the lab req form to be filled out. And I was told they were going to electronically submit my prescriptions to my pharmacy. I called my pharmacy a day after the appointment, they had not received anything, and of course it's 1pm and the clinic is closed. Next time, if I continue to go here, I will have to wait until I receive confirmation from my pharmacy that a script was received."
