"Worst place ever since switching to Wellmed!!! Been coming to this office for some 4 years now, ever since covid and now the switch to wellmed service and just booking appointments is horrible. I've been waiting since March 2023 to see my physician, then because they had only been sending me to physician assistant instead of my actual doctor for 2 1/2 years they said I was now considered a new patient and that my new appointment would now be in November 8 months later!!! Now I called because said appointment was going to be tomorrow and I hadn't received a reminder. I called to cancel appointment cause I was able to find myself a new doctor where I have zero co-pays and they can actually schedule me within the year. Find your selves new doctors that actually give a damn about their patients and aren't sticking you with PAs just to make more money. Dr. Pinkston was actually a good doctor but I'm glad to be rid of this place nothing but headaches!!!!!"

"This place used to be great and I loved it. I never write reviews at all but had to at this point. I am switching and never returning here. They have messed my schedule up 3 times in a row as well as schedule me for a doctor in a different city. My actual doctor Clint Anderson is great but this office has not been top notch. I'm out of medication and have had to wait yet again. I had to make them print out my appointment to bring in because they lose information even after scheduling. I havnt really experienced this level of stress at a Dr office."

"I'm not a big one for writing negative reviews, but recent experiences motivated me to do so. I have been a patient at Family Medical Home (Dugas location) for some time now. But over the last year and a half I have been experiencing a steady decline in the services. My most recent was trying to make a routine appointment for blood work and a physical. Calling WellMed, which is now the primary point of contact, was awful. Trying to make the initial appointments took 3 phone calls over several days. Each time I had to initiate the call in spite of them saying that I would be contacted. On the third call, I requested to speak to a supervisor in the doctor's office. The office supervisor admitted to me that the service that Welmed provides has been problematic for many patients. But reading previous reviews it appears this has been going on for quite a while and they have taken no action to correct it. After finally making the appointments for the blood work and follow up, the blood work appointment was canceled by them, the recording left on my voicemail said that they would contact me to reschedule. l received a reminder call the day before my scheduled doctor appointment and was told that it would be for the blood work. (appointment that was previously canceled). After arriving at the office, I was told that it was to see the doctor. I explained the blood work was not done and reviewed by the doctor. She then told me I had to reschedule the blood work and that the doctor was not available to review it so I would need to see a nurse practitioner instead. There were a few previous issues in the recent past but this was for me the straw that broke the camel's back. I will be looking for another practice."

"I started going to this practice in 2018 and I’ve constantly had bad experiences. I rarely even go to get seen anymore because of how bad each experience has been. I normally don’t even take the time to write a review like this and I was planning on just talking to someone at the office but no one ever picks up the phone. They recently changed to WellMed but there is no difference in the bad service provided. The automated system has been sending me multiple calls, voicemails, emails AND texts to schedule and I have called 3 times to try and schedule and I wait on hold for 10+ minutes with no answer. The texts have a broken link to schedule appointments with an error so the only way to try and schedule is through the phone which is impossible. Trying to get an appointment with Dr. Pinkston takes months to get in so I’ve seen the PAs which have been fine. During peak COVID, I had a telehealth appointment with Kelly Nunemaker who was practically laying down during the appointment and I hadn’t turned my camera on yet and she said to someone apparently beside her “This patient doesn’t even know what they’re doing” in an irritated voice. I truly never even bothered to make a complaint because no one even answers the phone. At this point, I just have to switch to a different practice and literally block the phone number and email for Family Medical Home because I can’t even get ahold of them to tell them to stop blowing up my phone. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone."

"Currently I’ve been on hold for about half an hour trying to get through to someone to get a refill for a med I’ve been on for years. They used to be SO great about responding promptly through the online portal but the last time I tried that I never heard anything nor did I get the refill I needed. To spend so much time and hassle for a refill is ridiculous. Even my pharmacy instructs me to call them because they don’t hear back when they fax a refill request. I understand short staffing but this is out of hand. On top of that, I will have an appointment scheduled months in advance only to have it cancelled on me. Dr. Pinkston is a fantastic provider but even that no longer is worth dealing with these issues. I simply don’t have this sort of time to waste and need to be able to see a doctor or get a med in a timely manner. I recommend trying another clinic as Family Medical Home does not appear able to handle its business anymore."
