Reviews of Women's Health Specialists
"Disorganized and ridiculous wait time. Nearly 2 hours of waiting before the wife was fed up emotionally and wanted to leave. This was a new patient appointment. We arrived at least 10 mins before my wife's scheduled visit. She filled out their piece of paper to check in and we sat to wait. After an hour, she hadn't been called to fill out paperwork or get vitals so she checks in with the receptionist. At this point, it's clear they misplaced her check in paper and forgot about her because they use this opportunity to tell her that the Dr is out today so she'll be seeing someone else and give her the tablet for paperwork. She fills it out and we wait some more. Another 40 mins go by and still nothing. The wife gets up to check again what the wait is. 3 patients ahead to be seen before she can even do vitals (and then wait some more). People don't have all morning to wait around and be forgotten about. If the Dr was out, they should have communicated that when she arrived and set proper expectations. This caused an unnecessary waste of time and emotional distress for my wife who was trying to be seen. Safe to say, she won't be coming back here."
"I loved going here through my entire pregnancy. My health and my babies was always put first. Dr. Alecozay did not deliver my baby girl but he was there and made sure I had everything I needed. Dr. Pandya did a good job delivering my baby girl, however him and the nurses at southwest general kept trying to push me to have a c-section. The PA Alex was always there for almost all of my checkups and in the hospital when I had my baby and made sure I had everything I needed and always made myself and my boyfriend happy and smile. Sometimes the office is busy but its always worth it to stay. Will always go here when needed. Thank you to everyone in the office ❤️"
"I was a patient here throughout 2020 for my pregnancy. Always had a female doctor which was perfect and all the staff was sweet. office was stuffed and wait times could be bad at times but I will always be grateful to the staff here. They came together and donated money to me and my family after our house burned down and we lost everything and hooked me up with free sonograms because they all burnt and my insurance wouldn't cover more."
"First pregnancy of mine and getting to the end of it. Their are pros and some cons but what doctors office doesn’t have cons honestly. I’m not a picky person really and so far this place has been pretty dang good treating me wise. Pros - They listened to my concerns, they gave me help with them too to resolve the issues I was having acid reflux wise. - Also have met almost all the working doctors that are there, which to me is helpful and makes me feel better if my original doctor is unable to make my delivery! I even got to meet the midwives for other appointments which was great. The doctors and midwives have been wonderful. - They also recently remodeled and it feels brighter and more clean, which is a plus! - Better yet the place I chose to give birth is right next store so if there are any emergency’s, bam, we are there already! - Super fast appointment, which I’m a fan. The waits long sometimes but then you get in and out which I like if I don’t have any concerns and I’m doing just fine. - They have a little shop in there for breast pumps, compression socks, waist band support, shoes, Etc. My insurance covered all of it and I got it all for free. Just nice to be right there and not have to order it and wait to be delivered. Cons - Now the wait can be long, but probably due to so many people coming in to be seen. It’s a pretty good doctors office so I'm not surprised and I’m sure delays happen as some doctors may have to leave to actually deliver babies. - Some nurses must have some hard days as they do kind of take it out on you with being rude. That’s happened to me about three times during this whole pregnancy. (I am 37+5weeks) - Now parking is small and I wish there was more space! Also some people drop people off but stay in the space and wait for them when they could be there for a bit. some people who go alone need that space so hopefully In the future they make the parking lot bigger. - Calling can be a hassle sometimes too to reschedule or make an appointment some days better than others but sadly most of the time you’re put on hold for a while. I’ll update this if more happens within the two weeks left but so far more pros than cons and the cons are pretty small to me accept for the nurse part. Really hope some nurses have amazing things happen for them because it be nice to not be talked down towards when they aren’t very happy."
