"Saw Gregory Martinez, NP for a new patient physical. Very friendly and listened to my concerns. I appreciated his plan of care. The scheduler was very helpful, though clearly frustrated by me advocating for myself and essentially challenging office policy. In the end, the interactions were handled appropriately and I got the answers I needed. The most frustrating part is the difficulty to get ahold of anybody in the office, whether to change/cancel. Overall, I'm satisfied with my care, but the office is definitely understaffed and disorganized. Communication is disjointed and policies are inflexible, inconsistent, and dysfunctional. From what I've seen, these are clearly trustworthy people that want to help, but due to understaffing, may have to advocate for yourself. They are probably best-suited to simple health issues, though I respect the willingness to tackle more complicated cases. Still evaluating ability to handle continuity of care in the challenging southside environment."

"Horrible communication! I had called and got scheduled as a new patient. The day of they called me and told me they were doing TelaMedicine and my appt time was scheduled at 1:20 pm. Last minute they called and told me they had to cancel since Dr. Martinez wanted to see me in person and they had availability for the next day however since I already took time off they offered me Thursday at 2:10 but didn’t confirm until they checked with the doctor. They never called me to follow up and had the nerve to tell me the reason they didn’t call was because he said no to Thursday and they don’t have anything till January. I mentioned I wanted to use my benefits THIS year 3x before. It would’ve been common courtesy to call me the day of so I could’ve made accommodations for what they offered me at first. Again poor communication! And very unprofessional"
