Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care

"Booked an online appointment for 9:00am once I arrived on time we were told the staff was running behind so we would need to take as seat before being checked in. Finally the lady at the front checked us in however we weren’t called to the back to be seen until 9:46am. 46 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. The office don’t open until 9am and no prior patients were called back so I’m not sure how the office is running behind unless staff arrived late for their shift. Also the dr didn’t use any gloves when she checked my child. My child appointment was because she has discharge coming out of her red eyes. The dr checked her out and touched her face without having anything on her hands."

"The nurse practitioner who saw my daughter refused to test her as she told me the point of care would still be the same outcome to treat her symptoms. I brought her in to see her pediatrician Monday morning and come to find out my daughter has Covid. Go figure! This kind of information would have been useful to know to prevent exposure to anyone else. I certainly question her ability and knowledge to treat children as she advised to give my 5 month old daughter honey for her cough. If I didn’t know any better that would have been a big mistake. I definitely would not be returning as this nurse practitioner does not know what she is doing. The front desk and the nurse who took vitals were so kind and friendly."

"Nice decor, very clean. The staff were friendly and check in was fast and easy. . My daughter came in with a swollen eye lid, the doctor chk her out completely. The doctor ruled bug bite and she was prescribed medication to prevent infection, I'm glad it wasn't something worse. I am very grateful to have quality care for my kids so close to home, instead having to drive 20-35 to our Pediatric urgent cares. Thank you."
