Dallas Pain Consultants - Grand Prairie

"Dr.Kelley was so rude too me today..I remember her,from my first visit, at the dallas location...I'm hurt,I feel like it was discrimination.....She assumed that I was a drug user,when I suffer from NF1,which effects my eyes,causing them to be red and yellow at times..At my first appointment with her,last yr in july ,THC showed up in my blood tests...At this appointment today,I didn't do any labs before I came in,or anything...It was my first time,at the grand prairie location, but I got the same Dr,which is Dr.Kelley...I have been without my pain medication since last yr...I have slipped discs,slight scoliosis also....I asked to be sent to a neurologist,and for the neck and back injections,I received before....Everything was cool,they came back in,and let me know about the referral and neck injection situation...They didn't offer me pain meds or anything...So on my way out,I asked her about some pain meds,because it's been Almost a yr...She (Dr.Kelley).tells me to go back in the room..When we get in there,she states,well there's THC in your system,and I can't give you any meds???First thing I said,was Omg,not this again...She says out loud,WELL YOU CAN ALWAYS FIND YOU ANOTHER DR TO GO TO...I was so embarrassed and hurt,by that comment....I've been dealing with pain for so long,having insurance difficulties,and when I get to the Dr,to tell her about what's going on,she's assuming I'm drug user....I was treated very poor and unfairly today,by Dr.Kelley.....For her to loud talk me like that,and state YOU CAN ALWAYS FIND YOU ANOTHER DR,was totally out of line....I told her,that's what I'll do,and I'm not a dopehead...Those were my exact words to her.....I have other things going on with my body,i could never choose drugs over my life,that's ridiculous...I need help,can anyone please help me find a good pain management Dr???I'm a good person,and i believe in helping others...Please reach out to me,if you have any information...."
