"Dr. Houshmand was so professional and nice. She listen to all my concerns. Definitely recommend her."
"Excellent Service from Dr. Housamond. I have been a patient for four months now at the Mansfield location. When I went in for my monthly appointment treatment I was told there is a new doctor and the previous one was no longer there. The treatment I received by the new doctor which was Dr. Housamond was EXCELLENT. She was much more thorough, excellent customer service and patient while explaining my prognoses. She was so thorough to the point she asked me about my diet and protein intake. I have severe hair loss and although I have gotten shots to the scalp in the past from this office I could not see improvements. The first thing the previous doctor done was administer shots to my scalp she did not explain what, when or why. In fact, when I went in this week I ask the nurse did they really do scalp and treat hair loss or just acne and skin? She assured me they did both. Dr. Housamond began by examining my scalp and said my scalp need treating first before she would even think about administering shots. She prescribed shampoo and cream and guaranteed I would see improvement in 3 to 4 weeks following the directions she gave me. This was profound to me due to the fact I have never heard a doctor guarantee results and besides I am aware that healthy hair begins with healthy scalp and why had this not been addressed with the previous doctor. For a doctor to guarantee results assures me I am in the right place getting the right treatment with the right doctor. Dr. Housamond is amazing! Oh the nurse and front desk were pleasant, professional and kind as well. I think they have a great team and would highly recommend. SORRY FOR THE LONG REVIEW BUT HAD TO GET IT OUT:). Blessings!"
"Inept; my wife called for my appointment and told the staff exactly what we needed them to look at and do; which was not communicated to the staff. The doctor was condescending, nurse was beyond terrible. If you want care you can rely on - this isn’t the place."
"This is solely for the PA, Regina Nicholson. I’ve been here for a few visits. I’ve dealt with eczema and contact dermatitis for years and have pretty well found what works for me and what doesn’t work. Well, in June, I went in for a biopsy on a mole that was changing. That procedure was painless and rather quick! I was thrilled. Regina said I should hear back with the results in 2-3 weeks, but that “no news was good news.” After 5 weeks, I had heard nothing. I called to get my own results but was disappointed that no one called me when my results were ready. They apologized and said someone should have called me with the results. Thankfully it was nothing to be concerned about but still… it could’ve been cancerous as skin cancer runs in my family. During that biopsy appointment, Regina could not get out of the room fast enough, even though I had another skin question about an extremely dry and irritated scalp. She did a once over, gave me a sheet of paper and said she saw it all of the time and to alternate between 3 shampoos DAILY until it cleared up. One of those shampoos was a prescription and this instruction only made my scalp more irritated. I called back after 2 months of no relief. They wanted me to come back in for a visit. I refused since I had already been seen for this issue, I would just like another solution and did not want to pay another copay. The lady I spoke with was very understanding and said she would speak with Regina. I never heard back. I did, however, get a call from my pharmacy that a prescription was ready for me. I had to ask the pharmacy what the prescription was since the derm office never called me back…. Until the following day and they left me a voicemail but no instructions on how to use the prescription or request for a follow up. Fast forward to this week. I have had a horrible reaction to something on my face. When I went in yesterday, the MA was very attentive and listened to everything I had to say. When Regina came in, she could not wait to interrupt me to tell me what to do, all without hearing the history and timeline of this rash (I’m also 13 weeks pregnant). When I asked her what could be causing it, she said the only way to know was through a biopsy. I totally understand that, BUT YOU ARE THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. What do you THINK could be causing it? Have you seen this before? Give me something, lady! At the end of that visit, Regina said she was prescribing me a cream (something I didn’t recognize as Mometasone). I told Regina I had triamcinolone cream already that I use but was excited to try something new. When I got a call from the pharmacy, they told me that she called in Triamcinolone. Of course the dermatology office was already closed for the day so I couldn’t call to clarify what prescription I was supposed to get. I called this morning and two people said that my notes listed Triamcinolone. When I told them that Regina told me she was prescribing me Mometasone during my appointment, they had to go talk to her to find out what that was. Turns out, what she wanted to prescribe me isn’t safe for pregnancy so she changed it without a follow up call to me telling me it was going to change. The front desk staff and MAs are all super friendly. Regina does not care. Her bedside manner does not exist and her behavior is manic. You know those people that are just itching to interrupt you? That’s her. Thankfully I found an MD that I will be going to instead. I will not be returning here. Proceed with caution. There’s a reason they have many openings."
