"Beware that if you have any balance on your account you cannot schedule an appointment. My mother had emergency surgery and getting a follow up appointment was not impossible to schedule because she had a balance, for which we did not received the original bill and the appt was never filed with her insurance. I was forwarded from the scheduling department to the billing department each time I called them to try to make an appt, yet billing does not pick up and I have to leave a message. I was able to get the bill paid on the balance 4 days ago (which she should not have been billed had they filled with insurance). I tried to call today to make an appt to find out there is a new balance which I have not received that bill. I've never encountered a dr. office that refuses to schedule an appointment if there is a balance on the account, as well as an office that billing is not getting the bills to me."
"Be careful when going to this place and ensure you get a second opinion. I was told that I needed surgery to remove part of my bone after only an X-ray was taken. I've gone to two other doctors since then and both have said that you should never get a surgery without an MRI. Money hungry surgeons. Not to mention, I was told that the surgeon recommending the surgery owns North Texas Orthopedics."
"I would 100% recommend North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center. Having unfortunately had multiple ankle sprains along with 2 significant foot/ankle injuries in the last year and a half, I reached out to North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center for follow up treatment. I first saw Dr. Pat Peters for some minor breaks in my foot, then Dr. Mulligan for my repeated ankle injuries. I recently received a surgical procedure and both Dr. Mulligan and his PA have guided me through the process and recovery. Throughout all these instances, I have not only received compassion, personalized treatment, and proper follow up from the office, but I was able to get an appointment in a timely fashion as well. Even with some insurance difficulties, Dr. Mulligan's PA, Maddie Moore, found a different imaging center that accepted my insurance with a same day appointment. This office has been so incredibly accommodating and supportive during my recovery, I would highly recommend anyone to establish care with them if needed!"
"Expect to wait in clinic rooms for an hour after waiting 30 min to an hour to be called back. This has been a consistent experience. Expect to wait 4-6 weeks for any actual pain resolving solutions. They will prescribe you dangerous pain meds until then and neglect to maintain those prescriptions. They will let at least 5 days elapse before they will take the situation seriously. Still waiting. They do not care about your quality of life nor the quality of like for those around you. When you become adamant when requesting action you will only get attitudes/and or hollow a “I’m sorry” from the staff. I’m no Karen and never complain but I have never had this difficult a time with a medical office."
"I had a surgery on my left foot on 24 Oct 2023. This was a major reconstruction surgery and needless to say I was very nervous. I had previously read reviews about issues with insurance and not being informed till day of surgery about complete cost. So I was very protective about getting this information via the Surgery Center as well as my insurance company. The Surgery Center worked with me on a payment plan. My early involvement made this no issue at all and the billing team were great to work with. I was called the day before surgery for my time for surgery. I was contacted in a timely manner to get all paperwork and instructions for day’s leading up to surgery as well after what to do. Staff at the center were very kind, professional, and informative. I was very nervous yet they kept me very calm. Dr. Mulligan was absolutely wonderful and made me feel very comfortable and confident I was in good hands. This was a great experience and I would absolutely recommend the Surgery Center for any Orthopedic Surgery. I can’t thank the staff enough for creating a excellent experience."
