"Please do’nt have kids here getting medical records to transfer to another hospital is the most been waiting for 6 months i now sent it to the managers they are also taking time I guess now we are going to court we moved out of the state my child has not seen a doctor for 6 months"
"This particular post in no way affects my actual doctor. She’s amazing minus not having availability. JPS is scheduled to have Pediatric walk ins until 5pm. I rushed from work to bring my child and got here at 440 to find out they “took their last patient.” If 5pm is your cut off, that needs to be the cut off. I shouldn’t have had to drive to another JPS location for my daughter to be seen. Every place doesn’t take my insurance. Not to mention the front staff was rude about it."
"I had an appointment with Dr. Sayeed. I made this appointment 3 months ago because that’s all they had. I go to my appointment today to only find out someone canceled it. I don’t know how they didn’t have my phone number until this morning. No one could help me and they tell now. the next available Feb 14, 2024. One of the managers, a lady said she was going to call me and as 4 afternoon and no phone call. D see o even there so called bosses are full of it. I made this appointment because she is listed as one Tricare providers. I have informed Tricare of there unprofessional behavior of this clinic. You listed doctors in tricare listings that work for JPS should know the unprofessional conduct of there business. To other Tricare and or any patients I would find somewhere else that takes care of the customer it sure isn’t JPS."
"Trash! This place has gone downhill. Nurses and other staff have a nonchalant attitude and are dismissive to patient needs. And this is not the first time I've experienced their dismissive attitudes. And they have a high turnover rate. My daughter was there for severe cramping and that nurse gave zero ducks! Just touched her stomach where it hurts and said okay you have some pain there. Duh genius! She offered no additional care and I believe the birth control is causing her problems. Then told her to go to the ER if it happens again. A waste of a degree and a waste of time. Won't be back."
"Over years of being a patient, I can honestly say I’ve encountered some very nice and helpful JPS employees (at the Arlington location, and others.) Unfortunately, the negative experiences have outweighed the positive, and it’s often the case that the most helpful people don’t have the power to rectify a situation that’s gone wrong. For example, I have had doctors be extremely unprofessional and raise their voices at me over prescription refills they never responded to. This is one of the most common problems Ive encountered, and I have gone a couple of weeks without medication before due to lack of doctors’ responses to the pharmacy. People at the pharmacy have been helpful, but can only keep sending requests if the doctor doesn’t respond; I’ve had to write multiple mychart messages, and ultimately go up to the office to get my medications from multiple doctors. Many of the doctors at JPS are also not within network for the insurance I chose from the list JPS puts out every year of plans you must choose from. Although the JPS Behavioral health department has had that issue for years now, I wasn’t aware of it being a problem with any other doctors until I showed up for an appointment with a new PCP, and was told when I checked in. The silver lining is that I was able to find a great doctor outside of JPS. Special note: if you are a patient, especially with meds from outside providers, and/or needing your prescriptions mailed to your home, do not use the JPS Pharmacy app! Central Fill has to manually put in your prescriptions for refill at the main campus (hospital,) even after you make that selection on the app, and you may be waiting for several extra days for the prescription to be entered into the system. The app also delays the mailing process. So, always call in your meds, and know that if they’re from an outside provider, they have to be picked up from the main hospital (or mailed.)"
