"I recently visited this clinic for severe hip pain. Initially, an MRI was performed, but despite this, the doctor insisted on an additional X-ray. After reviewing the X-ray, he quickly diagnosed me with arthritis. However, this diagnosis did not align with my situation, as my pain began after lifting a heavy object, suggesting a possible soft tissue injury rather than arthritis. When I expressed my concerns and provided details about my injury, I felt dismissed. The doctor was eager to proceed with an injection followed by platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments. However, when I requested time to consider these options, the doctor’s demeanor changed abruptly, and he left the room quickly, making me feel disregarded and unvalued. In the end, it turned out that I did not have arthritis. My pain was due to an SI joint issue and a pulled piriformis muscle, exacerbated by my sleeping position. With appropriate non-surgical treatment, I am now able to walk comfortably again. This experience left me feeling that the doctor was more interested in pursuing surgical treatments rather than genuinely addressing my specific health needs."
