Cook Children's Pediatric Clinic

"This place has gone way down hill. It use to be quick and nice service. Now it’s 30 mins plus on hold to get told you have to wait 6 months plus for a check up appointment. I will be changing my children’s pcp only because unfortunately she is servicing through this office and I can’t stand to deal with the rude lazy people in the front anymore. They don’t accept walk in and their sick appointment is a doctor telling you that your child that’s had a cough for months that they are fine."

"I gave them a 5star four years ago! But now they are terrible. My daughter has not seen her pediatrician in 2 years. Every time we had an appointment she always saw a different doctor. Today my daughter really needs to see someone who cares and a nurse didn’t even bother to call back now I’m at an urgent care having to wait 4 hours to be seen while she has a non-stop cough and fever. Don’t take your kids here. I’m looking for a different doctor ASAP."

"Receptionist is rude, both in person and over the phone, they are no help at all, honestly in the process of getting both of my girls switched to a different doctor, the 24 hour nurses are also horrible they never call you back if you have an after hour situation so you would literally end up taking them to the emergency room anyway which is straight BULLSH-T. Extremely unprofessional place! Do not bring your children here!!!"

"I use to LOVE this clinic. My kids had Dr newton and she was AMAZING with my children and I!! Which I have twins and one with alot of medical issues. I never had to wait 20 mins to and hour on hold, I never had to worry about appointments 2 to 4 months out to get them in for basic wellness visits. God forbid if I have to call them for anything other then basic visits for my children. Ever since she left I'm OVER this clinic!!! ALL but one receptionist is absolutely rude!! You call and are on hold for way too long(sometimes 10-15 mins) for them to answer then immediately put you on hold for another crazy amount of time(sometimes 20-30 mins). I'm so over this clinic. I've start looking for another pedi office to take my children too. My advice is find any other clinic then this one, just not worth the dirt it's built on anymore."

"Very poor customer service. Just got the confirmation phone call from a staff member, went with the regular confirmation of our visit and all info, she then goes back and fourth with me over an insurance converge I do not have, nor have never had, she then told me my children would NOT BE SEEN and would be pushed out to Aug or Sept, put me on hold, placed an office manager on hold that thought I needed to be explained to again for the 100th time!! I then lost my cool and wish to GOD Dr. Lindsey Newton NEVER left this clinic! It sad to see how two people can not understand a customer's needs and can not get to the point and go around and around. THEN interrupt you in mid-sentence to ask you if everything is OKAY! It being the second phone call from the office manager, still no confirmation of if my kids will be seen or not tomorrow and if they will get the treatment and visit they have been waiting for since MARCH! I truly dislike to have to leave this clinic for the staff members who have been great to my family and I but today the person who called me and the office manager has completely ruined my faith with this site!!!! Corporate needs to listen to this phone call and evaluate these two workers. They do not belong in a customer service job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
