"I like the food here but the prices have gotten out of control and the pressure tipping is always a consideration. I visit infrequently compared to the past because I can easily spend $25 on lunch, which is a bit much."
"Heroes was catered by our apartment complex and the first 25 are free. My husband and I didn’t make the 25 so we paid cash. Okay such a regret. 1. They were supposed to be opened and serving by 4:20. We made it to the line at 4:20 and they didn’t start serving til around 4:45 and it was freezinf and I didn’t get food til 5:40z the fries are 4+ dollars and it’s crinkle cut fries and black pepper. The gyro was dry despite us paying for more sauce on the side and they didn’t provide it."
"I visited Heros Gyros for the first time and it was DELICIOUS!! They were at the Texas Book Festival. I am a plant based eater and this food did not disappoint. After receiving my order, several people I passed asked where I got the food because it smelled so good. Thanks Heros Gyros! I'll be back!!"
"Service was great but the gyros and fries were unfortunately pretty bland. They had a good portion of meat on the gyro but the flavors just weren’t there. The fries were supposed to be seasoned and I barely could taste the seasoning. For the price, I don’t think this place is worth it. Hope they change up their recipes soon because the service was good."
"$5 for a small 1/4 cup of grainy and clumpy hummus!! Are you kidding me?? I honestly have no idea how they can seriously charge $5 ( + my $1 tip) for the hummus and pita when all they serve is a quarter cup of hummus and a few slices of pita. Like, I know it's super basic, but at least double the serving size of hummus. I could go buy a full 12oz tub of it for the same price. I'm appalled to be honest."
