Our hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with walk-ins accepted until 3:00 pm. On Saturdays, we are open from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, with walk-ins accepted until 10:00 am. "I am in no way knocking any service they provide. Never got the chance to recieve any service. We arrived and got checked in to be told to wait in the parking lot. 2 hours rolls by and no word on when we will be seen. People came and went as we sat and waited until we eventually said "screw it" and left. If you can't give people a wait time... then you should take appointments. The fact that you got customers with sick animals waiting in your parking lot indefinitely is not good practice."
"Our puppy somehow cut her nose & it wouldn't stop bleeding. I called this establishment & they advised me I could just walk in. I arrived & walked in with Lainey. The receptionist said it would be about a 30 minute wait & to wait in my vehicle, someone will come out to grab us. A vet tech came out & grabbed Lainey. About 20 minutes later they came out & Lainey had gotten 3 staples. She told me to go inside to pay before leaving. The price was very reasonable. The receptionist said I need to come back in 2 weeks to remove the staples & then I left. The staff is friendly. The only thing I dislike is having to wait in my vehicle while they examined Lainey. I like to ask questions & know all of the different options."
"My husband and I just rescued a basset hound from the streets. Wanted to get him updated on all his shots and make sure he was in good health. We went on a Friday at around 10 and weren’t seen for quite awhile. We unfortunately had bad news, our new baby was heartworm positive. The veterinarian was super nice and talked to us about the whole treatment process. Even wrote us up an estimate for cost and to my surprise was a lot cheaper than most places we had been too. We will be returning for treatment at the end of January and bringing my other hounds up here for their yearly shots. Thank you Decatur Vet clinic, even though it was a wait it was well worth it to talk to someone that actually cared about our pet and also didn’t want to charge us an arm and leg for our baby to get the care he deserves."
"All the Horns Up Ranch longhorn babies are at the Vet for shots and other maintenance needs. This is the place for livestock hands down! No appointments needed which is nice when dealing with non household animals for sure."
