He interrupted me every time I talked didn’t listen and sent me home with see ya in a year the VA will mail you muscle relaxers. Horrible experience ! Next day went to JPS got pain meds proper care immediately again stay away guys run from this guy."

"Although my experience was majority seamless earlier in the year, what I've experienced the last few weeks is the EXACT reason Veterans are deterred from the VA System. Nearly a month ago, I made many attempts at scheduling with Granbury VA. Phones roll over into the Dallas receptionists, so a message has to be relayed in order to get a call back. After not receiving a call back and contacting patient advocacy, I was provided a Granbury Duty Cell, where I left a voicemail. Still no call back. At this point, nearly 2 weeks into trying to get an appointment scheduled. Today, I had an appointment at 8 am, that I was in fact running late to. I made many attempts to contact the 'duty phone' and Dallas reception to relay a message and NOTHING. When I walked in, I was turned away, advising that the nurse asked to mark me as a now show. Here's the thing: I know I was late, but had I been able to get through the phone, I'm confident this could have been made right. The entry reception at the door was completely unprofessional and insensitive. She asked if I called the duty cell, where I told her that I did and she defended saying they have no control over 'broken phones'. What she failed to do was offer to accept me as a 'walk in', or even ask if there were any urgency to my visit to begin with. Just nothing, turned me away after spending an hour on the road to even attempt to be seen. I'm extremely disappointed in the system today and hoping to have a better experience, as I've requested to be transferred to Fort Worth."

"Doctor Anderson is excellent and the staff is great. However, they are not an emergency or urgent care facility, so it can be difficult to see a doctor on short notice. Crystal, at the front desk, can give you a list of VA approved urgent care facilities."
