HH was my first time in treatment & I’m confident that it will be my last. "Hannah’s House is a beautiful, spiritual place. Miracles take place within Hannah’s. Before I arrived there in December 2022, I was hopeless, at my lowest of lows. I’ve been in and out of residential treatment facilities since the age of 16, and I’ve been to 9 or so, in Texas, California, and Illinois. I’ve been to the ER, hospital stays, psych hospital stays, and 2 attempts on my own life, because my IV addiction had gotten so severe, my hopelessness after so many years of failed treatment, whether I’d completed successfully or left AMA, I just honestly believed I couldn’t recover. I told myself that Hannah’s House would be my last try, and I thank my Divine Creator every day for that place. For starters, Hannah’s 12step approach is unlike any other treatment facility that I’ve seen. Not only do we have 12step workbooks and deep dive, 12step RA’s such as Jessica, Leticia, and Nadia who teach big book classes and take us through all 12 step (4&5 too!!!). There’s also amazing Alumni Care Coordinators, Raquel and Newell, who in addition to teaching step classes, also teach us how to find good sponsors, healthy fellowship in home groups, maintaining important steps (10,11,&12) even after residential treatment, as well as different levels of care such as transitional living, sober living, PHP, IOP, and outpatient. And that’s in addition to them finding aftercare programs for us that we'll have the best chance of success at. And this is the first time I’ve ever been confident in my Alumni team that they really do want to help even after treatment, not just send me recourses for any old sober living without even knowing about where they’re recommending me to go. The list could go on, seriously, Hannah’s House saved my life, every single person who is apart of Hannah’s House really cares, I can’t say enough about the program.
