"Dr Anderson is the worst Dr ever. I have 3 compression fractures on my spine and he wouldn't listen to my symptoms and made me wait months for xrays and CT. Then he misread the xrays and said I was fine. He should not be allowed to help people in my opinion. **update** 5Mar24 Somehow this "dr" gets a second chance to screw my life up more. He is somehow still my GP without being my GP and won't give me a referral yo get hernia surgery. He wants me to drive over an hour to Fort Worth while i am in excruciating pain to try to find another one there and get their approval. Can't tell you how appreciated I feel for serving. This is ridiculous"
""Doctor" Anderson is a joke, and the senile old lady at the front desk should be fired for being so rude and grumpy. ONE simple question and she gets all defensive and raises her voice. POS. How do these people get these jobs?"
"Excellent VA clinic. They have always been very helpful for me, answered calls, returned calls and helped me to adjust medications as needed."
"Dr Anderson is not particularly thorough in his work. Speaks with medical terminology that is not understood, nor particularly impressive for non-clinical patients who had no medical background. It leaves them confused; likewise, he brushed off my husbands seizure and lab work to which showed he had a seizure. Said the event was not related to a seizure, refused to request a referral for a neurologist, did not order MRI or any other imaging regardless of our concern. My husband has since had another grand mal seizure, and unfortunately we are having to pay out of pocket to navigate the healthcare system without the VA assistance because of Luke Andersons inefficiency as a physician to actually listen to his patients concerns. Best of luck, would not recommend anyone come here, might I also add the potential concern of HIPAA violations with doctors, not nurse, but licensed doctors who discuss clinical diagnoses via voicemail. Imagine this gets in the hands of someone who is not the patient or medical POA… Edit as of today, Luke Anderson should be sued for his neglect of patients. He did not document my husbands initial seizure and when we called the nurse made the gross assumption to ask if my husband was drinking and questioned why we needed a neurologist after I told her multiple times he had a seizure. Anderson conveniently called in and no one notified my husband prior to his appointment that it was no longer standing because Anderson decided he wasn’t going to come into work today. He deserves to be sued and have his medical license revoked for being negligent and reckless with his care."
"Staff and Dr. Anderson were caring and professional. I'd give it a 5 star review except for one person. Mary, the nurse, seemed to have an issue with me. I watched her greet all the men very sweetly. When my husband was called back, she gave me a glare and looked me up and down. No greeting. In the exam room, she said that here are the case managers for your oncology as she handed him a post it note. I told her that we already had an oncologist. She snapped at me and said "those are the case managers". I asked my husband if I heard and responded correctly. He said that I did. He said that he also noticed the attitude she gave me. It's ironic because my husband goes there via VA but I'm also a veteran. I'm wondering if she treats women vets this way. She definitely needs to apply to work at the VA because she's an ideal candidate. I expect this treatment from VA but not a contractor that also treats civilians."
