"Just what our lovely little town needed, it’s perfect! The most friendly staff, sound system is phenomenal and very clean establishment."
"Rainbow Movie Theater has consistently been my go-to destination for movies. Its quaint and comfortable atmosphere sets it apart from larger theaters, making it a truly enjoyable experience.Their commitment to providing a pleasant and cozy ambiance, along with a selection of the latest movies, is commendable. The friendly and courteous staff enhances the overall experience, making every visit a memorable one. I highly recommend Rainbow Movie Theater to anyone seeking a peaceful, enjoyable movie-watching experience without the need to travel to San Antonio. It's a gem that deserves recognition for its quaint charm and commitment to customer satisfaction."
"It's a cool theater! Seats are comfy and the sound system is great. However, if you've got kids or you are under 5'6", you're gonna want to sit in the front 4 rows or in the balcony. The seats are not sloped enough to see over the seats in front of you when you sit in the back 3/4 rows. I also wish they would release the showings more than a week out. It's hard to plan ahead when you don't know what they're playing until the week of, or if the movie you want to see will even come to this theater at all. Ok also don't think."
"I was so happy that it was reopened after so long. The interior is beatiful the sound system was great, the folks were friendly and not just the employees but the movie goers. I will go again and again. Just don't expect fountain drinks. Its not a complaint. I loved it."
"This historic theater was first built in 1943 and eventually fell in to disrepair and became a quaint antique shop for quite a while. It reopened in the summer of 2023 after extensive renovations and it is a super fun place to go see a movie. There’s only one screen, but that adds to the charm in my opinion. The snack bar has the usuals (candy, popcorn, soda, etc) in addition to serving beer and hard seltzer. To be honest, I’m disappointed and a little surprised that in this age of craft-beer-craze they only serve 3 beers and they are all light beer (Bud light, Miller Lite, and Lone Star light)."
