Reviews
"It was so peaceful. Just because it was nobody hardly here. But I know , summer time it will be full again. Great place to hang out or enjoy a good movie with the one you love or family & friends. Restrooms are always clean when I come . Great memories at the drive-in !! We will be back :)"
"This was my first time going to a drive-in movie so I didn’t know what to expect. Their website recommends that you arrive an hour before your show to avoid long wait times. Once you get through the entrance line, you will be told which direction to follow for your movie screen. If you get there early, you can pick a good spot. You will see evenly spaced posts. Park close to a post so another car can fit along side you (friendly staff had to correct me since I accidentally hogged the space in the middle). The screen will clearly tell you what radio station to tune into. The outdoor pavilion area has plenty of seating. The food and drink menu is a bit pricey for certain items, but it’s similar to other movie theatre’s prices, and I understand this is how they need to make money. In case you need to go before the movie, there are bathrooms. To help pass time, there is one table set up for playing video games like Mario Kart, or you can sit by the fire pits. There is also a playground for kids. During the movie, I kept my car engine off with the radio on, but my radio turned off after 30 minutes so I also feel bad for having to restart my car quickly with the lights turning on for a few seconds just so the radio would start again. In the future, I’ll consider getting a portable radio that I can bring to make things easier. I had a pleasant experience and look forward to coming back."
"It was our first time in Coyote Drive In, definitely it’s a great idea even though just four starts because they don’t have enough signs and you can lose easily when you arrive. The hard part for us was the rain night with fog but we have a fun time. Although our car has excellent audio we want to try with a boom box or FM capable music players with a good speaker for next time."
"Very fun neat experience loved the vibe and atmosphere. Tickets cheaper than AMC, Movie Tavern, and Studio Movie Grill. Just don't like when people don't know how to just shut off their damn headlights."
"Just a mile from Main St, nestled in the heart of Fort Worth, sits the Coyote Drive-In. This isn't just a drive-in theater; it's an eclectic mix of a classic outdoor cinema and a bustling tailgate party. Imagine if Truck Yard was combined with a drive-in; that's the unique, energetic vibe you'll find here. One of the many highlights of this location is the stunning view of the downtown skyline. As you sit back in your camping chair or tailgate from your hatchback or pickup, you can take in the vibrant cityscape, adding an urban touch to your movie night. The drive-in proudly features four impressive screens, offering a wide variety of films. Coupled with fantastic image clarity, you'll feel immersed in the movie while enjoying an open-air cinema experience. But the Coyote Drive-In is not just about films. Live music performances set a lively pre-movie atmosphere that feels like a mini festival. Plus, there's no shortage of recreational activities, with a buzzing playground, retro video games (free!), and fun yard games available. Seating is everywhere, and the bathrooms were fairly clean. Adding to the festive spirit is an array of food trucks with delightful, inexpensive offerings to satisfy your movie-time cravings. They also have a decent beer selection on tap! What truly sets this venue apart is the incredible staff. Their attentiveness and readiness to assist is exceptional. When I couldn't figure out how to turn off the headlights of my new vehicle, a staff member was quick to lend a hand. Coyote Drive-In, with its nostalgic charm and modern enjoyment, delivers more than just a movie theatre experience; it's a communal space that marries a wonderful view of downtown Fort Worth with a refreshing twist on a traditional movie night. Highly recommended for a one-of-a-kind night out!"
