"This morning I was buying some nicotine. There is a deal if you use your phone number. I paid before I could do that. That’s on me. I admittedly said so. I was doing self checkout. Well the Blonde woman who works mornings… I asked her if she could please refund and let me do it again. I was in no hurry and she just rolls her eyes and says under her breath “this is ridiculous” and just kept uttering complaining phrases under her breath. Just a lot of unnecessary attitude. So I told her it’s fine I’ll just pay full price even though that’s not what I wanted to do. Highly disappointed in the service considering I’ve been going to this same gas station for 18 years nearly daily. Sad. Need to hire people that aren’t going to be rude to customers. God bless."
"It’s a pretty nice gas station. I’ve never had any bad experiences here. I think the overall atmosphere is what we’ve all come to expect, know, and love from speedway. What better way to spend a break than grabbing a quick coffee to keep yourself up during long working hours? Seems like an ideal spot. I'd venture to guess the majority of local businesses can't hold a candle to speedway's gas prices and coffee selection, as well as their gum and lower calorie snacks. Speedway started in 1952 as Speedway 79, the name of a fuel chain based in Michigan. Speedway stations are located in 32 states, up significantly from its core seven-state region in the Midwest since 2012. Prior to 2021, the company was a wholly owned subsidiary of the Marathon Petroleum Corporation. It is the largest convenience store chain in central Ohio. I find this considerably interesting since the convienience store chain is primarily midwestern despite what most individuals living in differing areas of the nation may initially assume. It seems to be an outlier in the general origination of such establishments, perhaps due to the Midwest's unique ability to elevate corporations to such high statuses. I would nearly consider it a shame in a way. I would’ve never thought that Speedway could be more well known in western states than a company like Chevron, but that seems to be the case as of late."
"The cashiers are always friendly and personable (management, not so much). While there is a pretty good selection of items, they tend to be priced higher than at other area stations."
"Store is just too crowded to actually feel comfortable. Makes me not want to shop there. An employee from another store was here helping out and she was very friendly and helped me find the things I needed"
"Stopped in for a quick visit today while traveling through. It was clean inside very organized. Store is kinda small but everything one needs is found here."
