"Most of the staff is very pleasant. Manager was rude after she mishandled my cash and gave me the wrong change. I straightforwardly corrected her, and she told me “[my] attitude is unnecessary.” All I said was “you owe me $6.05, not $1.05.” So, as far as I’m concerned, she was the only one with an attitude. It is her duty to be careful when handling customers’ cash, which she wasn’t, and she had the audacity to condescend me instead of apologizing for her honest mistake. It’s a testament to her character, really."
"I picked up some meds and a covid test from the pharmacy and the wrong card was charged. I called and told the pharmacist my total and he said he saw a different total. I made him aware that I have covid and I would come back in next week with my receipt. He said we won't be able to do it next week. I responded, so you want me to come in with covid? He said you could have someone come for you. I don't have anyone. So I told him I'd see him soon. When I arrive at the pharmacy, the pharmacy staff let me know I cannot be reimbursed after an hour. So I exposed about 15 people because of the pharmacist's lack of compassion and knowledge on pharmacy rules. Get it together."
"I tried this branch after worse than poor experiences at the Prospect Walgreens. They did well for my first order, but now loose the prescription (electronically filed by my doctor, stating an error in the file), and offer no communication whatsoever on what is happening with the prescription, have been told multiple responses by three different staff. Will not use Walgreens again. You are much better off to utilize the pharmacy at Kroger, Walmart, Sam's, or Costco."
"VERY SORRY FOR THE LENGTH OF THIS: I have been asked by my doctor to stay away from this location as he's had problems with them in the past and currently still does. It's like the pharmacy staff at this location enjoy being rude to people, and maybe they don't realize or think that they act like that, but they do. If any of the workers from that location are reading this, your customers in the waiting area can hear everything you say, even if you're in the back. But, how can you all not know that? Which just makes me think you all don't care, and it shows. In front of other customers, they will openly talk about other clients and banter about how terrible a certain customer is because of XYZ or because they are prescribed a medication that they don't think is required, in their "incredibly extensive" medical opinion. It's like this specific location just harbors what most would consider a toxic work environment & it has carried over to new hires......maybe? I can't get across enough how consistently rude the pharmacist & techs are at this specific location have been over such a long period of time. I think that this pharmacy is probably okay with getting bad reviews at this point, maybe they'd prefer people will stop going to them so that it will help lighten their workload. I haven't gotten my personal prescriptions filled at this location in several years but I've seen and heard how they treat friends & family that have tried using this location. They've always acted as if they are doing you a favor by filling your prescription no matter if it's your first time or you've been going for any moderate length of time. It doesn't matter if the doctor called it in or if it's a prescription you've been getting filled for a number of years without trying to do shady things like get early refills, which just isn't possible, isn't something I can do nor want to, so why do they think I am trying? I just can't convey enough that I think this is, by far, the worst pharmacy I've ever used in my life. I currently use a different Walgreens location and I have nothing but good things to say about them, I just mean this specific location. Over the years I've tried to go back to this location & it's always ended in the pharmacist or tech just being plain rude, dismissive, etc. I was told several times by one particular pharmacist that I was lucky to have my medicine filled there and that I wasn't even in their "circle of trust" (whatever that meant), after that incident I transferred pharmacies. Lastly, some of these techs/pharmacist act like they are your doctor or that they are doing you a favor by filling your prescription on a normal monthly basis & will bring up things like them possibly getting in trouble with the DEA & that they weren't going to risk giving me my medications for fear of retribution, I couldn't believe what I was being told and asked for the pharmacist who told the tech that they had read my date wrong and then filled the prescription a little while later. And then the next month it would be something else. I don't like writing these reviews and I don't normally do this, but, after hearing how they treated someone very close to me today, I just felt that I had to say something. I highly doubt anything will come from this as I once heard a pharmacist there say that they don't care about bad reviews and that he'll wear it with a badge of honor. "they can go somewhere else, I don't care." Which is a whole lot easier said than done. And, between Walgreens and CVS, we really don't have any other options, and I think that that is taken advantage of by the people that work in this industry."
"Walgreens was always the best place to fill prescriptions up until recently. They never have our child’s medicine and can’t get your prescription right. I haven’t even got text messages that my medicine was ready and drove all the way there and it wasn’t. Depending on what customer service representative you get, you may be judged or treated badly. They could do better."
