"Elderly Mom's appointment was at 10am at 10:45 asked front desk clerk when she might be able to see Dr clerk stated appointment was at 10:30 which it wasn't. At 11:10 got back to a room at which point entered room shaking berating me for being rude to front desk clerk stated was going to discharge my elderly mother and husband from his medical services. My mother began to cry I apologized if I had been rude he never apologized. "My wife is pregnant. It's our first child and our Dr is Dr. Mark L. Mcclanahan. Everything was great. He seemed to genuinely care about the pregnancy until one day during the checkup she asked if she was going to be able to deliver the baby naturally. Dr. Mark L. Mcclanahan Responded with "It's going to be a C-Section" we asked if there was some complication preventing her from having the baby naturally. His EXACT words were "It's just easier on me if it's a C-Section" She explained that she would really like to have the baby naturally. Dr. Mark L. Mcclanahan replied "If you want to have the baby naturally than that's up to you but you will have to go with the Dr that is on call that day or night" We were aghast at this ignorant response....It was already too late in the pregnancy and even though we tried with all our might to switch Dr's it was too late. No other Drs would accept. If we had known this is how he was going to be we would have NEVER gone to him in the first place. After that I felt he didn't really care about us as patients or the pregnancy at all. All we look like to him are dollar signs...If we have any other children we will NEVER go to this quack or place again. So this is just a warning for other people expecting a baby to be ware of this "Dr" unless you don't want a choice in how your baby is going to be delivered..."
