"I was very pleased with the whole experience here. She sent little update videos of how the dogs were doing. Close to my home and doesn’t charge outrageous prices. Will definitely use again."

"As a paying customer, I at least expect a little respect… my first time being here and meeting the people, and as I am met at the gate, I am immediately told “please don’t touch my gate…it’s private…” okay understandable. Then, as I am explaining my emergency situation, I am told by the people, “you know we charge a fee right?” Made me feel completely stupid, as I did expect a fee like any other service… lastly, I am told that I will need a signature from the owner of the dogs… she just had a seizure and is currently no contact in the hospital… I try to do a good deed, however I cannot get help or the least bit of respect. Like I said, this is my first impression of these people and let me say that I would feel so unsafe with my babies under their care. Do not recommend. Thanks for ruining my mood for the day."

"I visited the Furry Godmother over Derby week and boarded my babydog with Rene. Rene is such a wonderful person and you can see that as soon as arrive. The property is spotless and full of beautiful flowers all over the place and you can tell she puts in alot of work to make you feel welcome. The kennel is spacious and the turn out play yard is huge and zoomie friendly. I felt totally at ease in leaving Rosie with Rene. I wish there was a boarding kennel like the Furry Godmother in my area in NC."

"We've boarded our dog Kevin here many times. The owner is easy to get a hold of, quick to respond, and calls with any updates while we're away. She even sends us photos of our little guy. She stays very booked, (even into the following year!) so this obviously speaks of her popularity."

"I was a little nervous leaving our dogs for 5 days. Each one weighs over a 100 lbs and can be a handful if your not experienced with large rescue dogs. Rene did an excellent job. I had nothing to worry about and know that any trip we take that’s where they’re headed for a vacation themselves! Highly recommend her bordering services."
