"Had to take my fiancé to resolute hospital for high blood sugar. The nurse Keith was AMAZING! Very polite, knowledgeable, and also very funny (if you’re into dad jokes). Keith made my fiancé feel safe and heard, we liked him a lot, wonderful experience."

"I need to go to a hospital and was checking out reviews on this one and I couldn't believe the reviews, it sounds just like all the other hospitals that I have already been in. Hospitals do not have the same work ethic nor do Drs.nor do nurses.There are a few great drs,nurses but can count them on one hand. It's really sad that you need to see a dr but your afraid for your life to go. I have already checked out all of them in san Antonio so thought I would look in new Braunfels. Good luck to everyone."

"Honestly, how many negative ratings is it gonna take to either shut this place down, or get a better staff? I’ve visited twice and decided I will never go back. Id rather drive all the way to the Seguin hospital than this. On October 16, I visited the ER for a racing heart, heart palpitations, and major shortness of breath. I was kept for about 6 hours and it was alright. My first nurse was amazing. I think her name was Brooke. My second nurse was okay. My doctor seemed like she was cracked out on caffeine. Wouldn’t really let me talk, just kept cutting me off and talking to me like I’m a second grader. I don’t really care if she does that to me, but then she did the same thing to my mother. I found that highly disrespectful. Got discharged and went to my PCP. Went to the Cardiologist and found out at 22 yrs old, I have some serious heart issues. Recently in January, I went in again for pain from my chest and had a lot of trouble breathing. Just breathing would make me cry on end bc of the pain. I could hear crackling in my lungs and decided to go into the ER. The nurse seemed kind of annoyed and asked me a stupid question. She asked me if I felt safe at home. My fiancé was there with me. In my mind and logic, why would you ask that when someone else is around. Yes I’m safe, but what if I wasn’t? How can you say something if the person is in the room?! Very unprofessional. The doctor? OMG he treated me like a junkie looking to score some pills. My cardiologist prescribed me some heart medication to keep my heart beating at the rate that it should be and I showed the doctor and he just kind of looked at it and shrugged. He prescribed me some medication and after asking questions making sure it wouldn’t affect my current heart medication, I was discharged. I didn’t even get a room. They never even checked my lungs after I told them that was my concern. They didn’t check anything. Just talked to me like I was stupid and sent me on my way. 2 days pass and I’m horrible. I can’t move, I can’t work, and I could barely drive. I went to my PCP again and told him everything. He was pissed. Told me the medication the ER doctor gave me is counteracting my heart medication and to stop taking it immediately. I ended up having an upper respiratory infection, a sinus infection, and a cold. And the two medications combined were making me worse. The billing with the hospital made no sense. How is it cheaper to get MULTIPLE EKG’s and a bunch of bloodwork, than not even getting checked at all and just talking. Needless to say I will not be returning and have told plenty of friends to stay away from here."

"It was great 9 years ago when I had my baby. I’ve gone multiple times after that, and it was a very bad experience. The nurses are condescending, and they treat you like you’re stupid. I’ve never actually received help for what I arrived for. I have a friend in there right now who’s keeping me up to date on his experience and it’s appalling, and maddening."

"I will never return to this hospital. I came in yesterday with severe mouth/throat pain. I couldn’t eat/drink without being in tears. The doctor I saw seemed inconvenienced by my arrival. He diagnosed me w a version of hand foot mouth and prescribed me antibiotics for a viral infection. I had told him that I was on the max amount of ibuprofen/Tylenol combo and that it wasn’t helping. He shrugged his shoulders and said that’s all he could do for me, then gave me a shot of stronger ibuprofen which only helped me for a few hours. I returned today due to the pain again being unbearable to be greeted by a triage nurse that seemed very irritated w my presence as well. She was interrupting my mom because I could barely speak due to the pain. I was crying and it was extremely painful to speak. Then I get taken back to a room where the bedding had BLOOD on it. And a bloody clot, along with a bloody tissue on the floor. Not only that, but the nurse had her computer open so I could see not only my name and my diagnoses but the other patients full name and diagnoses. I know a someone was there due to weakness, I know someone was there due to a fall, and I know both their full names because of this screen being shown. That seemed HIGHLY unprofessional to me. Then I was greeted by the same doctor who just shrugged his shoulders yet again and told me he couldn’t give me anything for the pain to take home. He made me feel like I was just some junkie looking for a fix when I was in there for the second day in a row, willing to pay ANOTHER bill just for some relief. He gave me another dose of the ibuprofen and fluids and sent me on my way. I am now going to be back home, in the exact same pain in a few hours with no management at home. I have done everything he recommended and this virus is getting worse and more painful and he just wrote me off. I am appalled by the behavior of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. I didn’t get a picture of the sheet before I asked the nurse to change it, but I did get a photo of the disgusting bloody tissue on the floor."
