"I adopted my cockapoo, Jack from a rescue. Jack was deemed a “reject” by the breeder he came from. My blue eyed boy with the happy personality, love of shredding paper and barking to the top of his lungs is deaf. He is not a “reject”. But…he was a little hard to handle at times and had so much energy we knew we needed help teaching him to listen. Our doggie daycare gave us Pat’s name and we set up a first meeting with him. His knowledge and a well guided step by step approach to training has been remarkable in Jack. He taught us how to teach Jack. Jack is a smart boy and is still learning but he’s come such a long way and I thank Pat for it all. Pat is patient and seeks to understand completely to address concerns, questions and training. "We found Pat when searching for a trainer to help with Bud our 2 yr old golden retrievers reactivity and after a few aggression instances. We have 3 other dogs in the house at the time as well and he helped us set boundaries, obedience drills, and build trust between us and our dogs. We learned triggers and ways to decompress and redirect Bud when he’s overstimulated. Our relationship with them has grown so much and has made our day to day and actives so much better. "Pat has been amazing! Bo is our first Blue Heeler. Bo is full of personality, very smart, and is deaf. At around 18 months old we began to realize that we could enjoy Bo more with some obedience. "Pat is absolutely amazing! We got Dixie at 8 weeks old and boy were we over our heads. We have had dogs before and this same breed too but never one so young as Dixie. Soon her name changed to Dixie Beth(as in Beth from Yellowstone) cause she was just so wild. She was always getting into something, jumping, climbing, barking, peeing everywhere. We never had a moment to breath. We were all ready to return her to the rescue we got her from when we decided to try training. Two weeks into training you could see the difference!! She was starting to become a whole new dog! The tools Pat gave us are truly tools we will use for her entire life. Today, she is 7 months old generally well behaved little puppy and still learning!!"

"Happy 1st Birthday Kimber Ray ❤ I don't know if I could have made it without Mr. Pat at Cross County K9 Training. You're the best - worst puppy I've ever had (and that is saying a lot considering your brother is part lab). But I wouldn't change a thing about you! Thank goodness I found Mr. Pat and started training early, She would be running the house and our lives if I hadn't! Mr. Pat, thank you for allowing me to be an advocate for this breed by showing how consistency and hard work truly pays off. Although we still have tons of work to do (she's still in her super puppy stage) being able to take her out and get compliments on her behavior and manners at such a young age makes all of the hard work worth it.
