"I knew the place as Salt Peter cave growing up. It was also called Hole-in-the-wall. "Water Fall Cave" is a new one for me. Whatever you call it, I've always enjoyed camping there. If you have never seen Fox Fire moss glowing at night, you should check it out!"

"The water was all dried up when i went there. But it’s still beautiful and not to hard of a walk. Recommend going after a rain fall. So you can have a waterfall. Definitely a family friendly walk"

"The drive in was ROUGH!! We had a truck camper, and it was scary going around the washout parts of the road. Parking isn’t existent, so don’t look for a lot. We had no issues finding the trail. Near the start of the trail, there’s a huge pine laying across the road. There’s no way around it. You could go over, but it’s kind of high. Going under was the best option for us. But two of the 3 adults walking, had kids strapped to our backs. So going under was still difficult. BRING BUG SPRAY!! The mosquitoes are terrible on the trail, but didn’t bother us once we got to the cave. And we had bug spray on. It’s about 11/2 miles, there and back, so not too long. Going down the rocks was a little iffy because of carrying kids on our backs, and some places was slippery. If you don’t have good legs, knees & balance, I wouldn’t recommend. There is a rope to help. It’s a little disappointing seeing all the trash and graffiti down there. I wish others could respect nature and clean up behind their selves. What happened to scratching your name in a tree?! No waterfall… only trickles of water coming down. But still pretty and a fun hike. Going UP the rocks with the rope was much easier, and my 4 year old actually climbed herself. We still carried the 1 year old. All in all, we enjoyed it and would probably go again if we had a different group of people who had never been. But would love to see the road fixed, and the tree cut. That’s why I’m giving it a 3 star. And no water. Which isn’t anyone’s fault."

"Trail is cover in down trees and not well marked. Work needs to be done to access the area. I do have some mobility problems but am usually able to complete most trails but me and my dog had to turn around after about 1/2 mile as the trial was in such bad condition. The pictures are beautiful really wish I could made it down there"

"Awesome experience, trails not horrible the climb wasn't too bad, though you do need a rope to climb down but also you can hike down on the other side just takes a little longer."
