"The trail is a great place to walk, hike or bike ride. The section between Man O' War and Pleasant Ridge is shaded and scenic and leads to the Park and dog park."

"Brighton East Trail is a 3.3-mile trail suitable for walking, running, and cycling. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. This trail is suitable for people of all ages, including young kids, adults, and elderly individuals."

"Good flat wide trail. Could use a water spigot for pets at each end. Friendly folks. Good for dogs. The western part of the trail now has a bridge over man o war, so is much more connected to Lexington. There is noisy construction of new housing nearby. More residents is increasing the trails popularity. Winter now, so the side trails are muddy and there is slippery leaf debris. Main trail is fine. A few seats, but no picnic area. Restrooms are located in the eastern end car park, near the playground and dog run, Pheasant ridge. Lovely shady place to walk and talk. Go. Do. Enjoy!"
