"This was by far the worst experience I've ever had when filing taxes. During a month long we were avoided, lied to and ignored because we asked for an update on our taxes due to a mistake they made. They didn't tell us additional info was needed until we waited weeks and had to call them. The tax preparer literally called in sick to avoid us. Or taxes were simple and this is unacceptable. Both Gretta and Louanne(manager) were incredibly rude, unprofessional and making improper remarks that were completely out of line. I highly suggest anyone who considers them to go elsewhere. I'm not the only one who's had these issues. Check the reviews."

"Went in to have my taxes done at H&R Block and they told me I would only be getting half what I normally get and turbo tax told me I would get the full amount of 11,000. I will never go back to them and I will be amending my taxes to get the full amount I should get"

"My husband made an appointment with this office. He went online and made an appointment. Nothing online noted this specific location was closed due to the current situation. Taxes are essential - government still requires us to file. We have friends back home in the business, and they are open (just taking precautions like one appt at a time to limit number of folks inside). We got to this location and the only thing posted outside was an option to drop off their taxes (curb side) and a number to call. The way it read, it seemed that if you WANTED that option, to call that specific number. There was no sign stating "Office not open to public - please wait outside and we'll assist you there" or even a big "PLEASE DO NOT ENTER" sign. Nothing. We stopped at the door for a few minutes reading every sign. One man was inside the entry filling out paperwork (so we waited a bit to allow for him to leave (giving 6ft distance)). Since my husband had an appointment, and we didn't see a sign otherwise, we went in to meet our appointment time and let them know we arrived. As soon as my foot came across the threshold (husband was in front of me), a woman rushed the door and yelled "NO ONE IS ALLOWED INSIDE! NO ONE IS ALLOWED INSIDE! YOU HAVE TO LEAVE!" All the while charging towards the door. Very aggressive. There was shear panic. No "Hey guys. Did y'all have an appointment? Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's drop off curb side only right now. Could you step out and we'll meet you there?" Nope. We felt like criminals. We are all doing our best to follow all rules right now as there is uncertainty and fear, but when every business is doing different things (without clarity or public knowledge), us as the public can't keep up with them all. If you do not post clear rules, we don't know and that isn't our fault. We are all in this together and doing our best, but that was the worst treatment we've seen thus far. Very unprofessional. Why allow appointments to be made online? You should call and let us know what's going on before we come. Another option, lock the doors with CLEAR signs. We ran out (because we were chased) and left. I'd suggest making some changes to your daily operations through this. Very disappointed."
