Fortune House Chinese Cuisine

"Fortune House fits perfectly into Lowest Greenville and serves as a great place for dining in or ordering pick up for any occasion. The food tastes authentic and flavorful. The restaurant feels fun and new. The staff acted friendly. I feel that the prices fit given the menu offerings and restaurant location in a trendy neighborhood. "Such a great first time experience here. Our server Brian was just fantastic. We started with the dumpling sampler and crab rangoons. For my entree I got the Honey Beef and my date got the Pork Belly. Both the appetizers and entrees were delicious! Their drinks were also made well. If you like old fashions, try the ancient old fashion with Knob Creek. Will not go wrong. Id definitely would come back for happy hour and try something new. 9/10 overall."

"The place was really good. I really enjoyed the pork Xiao long bao. The dumpling skin is very thin and delicate while the filling is very well flavored. The Jasmine green tea is very fresh, delicious and aromatic. The orange beef is very tender and well seasoned. They even accommodated my preference for spicy food and added chili flakes on my dish. It is over all a really great experience. It was my first time here as they always have a lot of people dining most of the time. Will come back and highly recommended for Chinese food."

"A disappointing service experience I'll start by saying that id be willing to give this spot another chance. One bad experience doesn't always mean it's a dud. I came here to meet with a friend, and I arrived before them so I got the table for us. They sat me in a back corner - keep in mind there was NO one else in this section at all, so I thought it was a little odd (you can see this in my interior photos). The server asked about drinks - I asked for two waters (mentioning my friend would be along soon). For about 10 minutes, no one came by, even though I had an app order ready. My friend arrived, we chatted for another 15 minutes and still no one had arrived. I tried during this time to flag someone down as well. I got someone who said they didn't serve but would grab someone for me. They didn't. At this point, we decided it might be easier to eat at the bar. We let the hostess we were moving, and ordered drinks from the bartender. Took quite awhile again before we could order food. When she came by again - we ordered the apps we wanted - except they were out of 2/3 of the choices we made. So we swapped choices around. After another 15 minutes, she came back and apologized that ANOTHER of our choices was also out. We just gave up - ate the two dishes we had (which were just okay, since they weren't even our first choices) and then left and ate an actual meal somewhere else. I was really excited to try out a new spot like this - and I'm sad it did not meet expectation."

"I had such a great experience at Fortune House this past weekend. I went for a friend's birthday with a large party. We didn't wait too long with a reservation. The ambiance was wonderful. The door is more like family style with large portions you share. The soup dumplings and spicy wontons were the perfect appetizer. The kitchen is open late which is very convenient.
