"How they claim to be a 4 star hotel is pretty laughable. The rooms were filthy, stains everywhere. The shower tub was yellow clearly no attempt was made to make it clean. Self parking is open to anyone so you park your car and random non hotel guests are just sitting around food and dirt left everywhere and smelt like piss. I was pretty disappointed with my stay here and don’t recommend this place to anyone."

"This Hotel is very overpriced. This is far from a 5 star hotel. My wife and I came to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary. I asked for a bottle of champagne to be in our room for the celebration. Sadly, when we came to check in, we waited for over 10 minutes because there was only one person at the check in desk. Mind you, this is the weekend of the 3/1/24. The rodeo was in town and 50 cent was opening, I say this to paint a picture as to how busy Houston was. We get to our room and no champagne. We couldn't reach anyone on the phone, so we had to go to the desk and request the champagne that was supposed to be waiting on us. As we looked around the room, the door to the bathroom, around the shower head and the vent above the shower was heavily water damaged. The closet door handle was damaged, like it had been slammed a few times. We left out on Saturday, 3/2/24, and we were gone all day. We return around 5pm and find our room not serviced. The bed was still unmade and the towels still in the floor. We asked the front desk and they said we had to leave again so that housekeeping can clean. We went back to the front desk, only to be greeted with an attitude and rude behavior. We waited until 930, almost 10 and we still got no service. We then went to checkout and was given the worst attitude from the front desk clerk. Never will I go here or recommend anyone stay at this place. The only good thing is the location and the valet. The place is horrible and deserves a -1 star rating. Over priced and under serviced in so many ways."

"I got a room for two days here and I looked under the bed and see socks and a bottle of water !! They did not clean this room good at all but you couldn’t even look under the bed ? That’s crazy to me. It makes me feel like someone was in my room or they just left. Then walk in the bathroom and it’s rust everywhere and holes in the ceilings! This hotel is out of date for the price. The front desk was nice and guest services but the cleaning service needs to get fired. I wouldn’t recommend"

"Checked in on the 16th - They have a restrictive policy regarding what the allow as forms of payment ( so call ahead and verify they take your form of payment) - As it turned out I did have something took after an 45 minutes of calls and waiting. Front desk told me they would give me a $40 credit for my troubles. I dined (under the $40) and then went to my room. The roomier barley functioned and they AC was either freezing or nothing. For hotel in the location the wear and tear on literally everything was visible. At 1 o’clock in the morning or so about 10 fire trucks showed up because of a possible gas leak. Parking prices are astronomical. Then after everything they declined to return my security deposit because of the $40 I was granted for my troubles. When I called in to see about this - I was told my issue was important enough to resolve immediately as they had a large event - and I could call back in three business days to check on my issue. Cannot stress enough that this place is to be avoided at all costs."

"This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The only thing good about this hotel is the location in the Galleria and the view from the room. The decor was very out dated and filthy in the lobby. The room felt dirty and sticky. Everything was falling apart and old. There was a water stain the size of Texas on the ceiling. From that and the smell, there was definitely mode. The bathroom was in horrible condition and the tub was stained. Housekeeping never visited my room let alone the floor. A trash bag set outside of my room for 2days untouched. The bar food was less than great. 100% not recommended especially for the ridiculously high price. Has the potential to be great with its location but it has been neglected."
