"I stayed at this hotel in December 2023 and the elevator did not work. They were fully booked and the website did not say the elevator did not work. My room was on the 2nd floor, and I asked for help to get my bags up the stairs; every clerk said they could not help me. There were no available rooms on the first floor. I must say, the bed was comfortable. However, there was no toilet tissue spool and the USB outlets on the nightstand did not work. I would not recommend this hotel. The Cypress Station is not a good area to stay. Find another area and a different Marriott Hotel."
"Stayed at this hotel 2 times for work in January 2024. I am largely familiar with Fairfields as i stay in Marriott hotels over 100 nights a year with half or more being Fairfield’s. This is one of the worst hotels Ive stayed at in the last 5 years of traveling for work. Period. I figured Id give them a second shot because they price was right, and it was the closest Marriott to my jobsite. Bad decision. First stay required me to have to call Marriot titanium concierge to get hotel staff to finally agree to switch our room because it was so bad at check in we were not staying in it. The replacement room was hardly better. Visible mold in bathroom, broken sink, stained carpet, musty smell and the room door lock constantly would forget our room cards so we had to get front desk to keep letting us back in our room. The second stay 2 weeks later wasnt much better except we didnt switch rooms, but conditions were pretty much the same. The door lock issue didnt occur though thankfully.. The free breakfast is never a selling point for me but wow- this one was so bad this time we just went to breakfast at a restaurant instead. The toaster has been broken all month (come on- thats like $30 to replace) and has tape on it saying “bad”, theres no creamer for the coffee, and the eggs taste like sand clumped together with spoiled milk, and are dry as the dessert. Sausage was the same dry as a bone each morning too from overmicrowaving it. Both trips there were always people sitting in thier car loitering suspiciously, people walking through property who clearly were not staying there, and other safety concerns. This last trip they also decided to run an authorization for my room EACH day of my 3 days stay for the room total plus deposit, so a $300 total stay tied up nearly $1000 on my card for the whole week. I called the desk several times, spoke with a manager, and called Marriott and opened a case. It was not resolved during my stay , only after checkout once the authorizations were converted to actual charges. No one cared, and no one seemed bothered except me. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Stay 10 min up the road at a different marriott if you are sticking with that chain."
"I stayed at the hotel and the service was horrible, to begin with, the man at the front desk with Drelos in the head did not listen to almost anything about the questions I asked him, he did not tell me the breakfast times, I had to assume them based on my experience With Marriot, the room did not have conditioner in the bathroom or body wash, the air did not work properly, to make matters worse I asked him how much they were going to charge me and he told me only 20 USD for the incidental charges and in reality they charged me 20 USD + 30usd + 4.01usd respectively. In other words, they charged me 54.01 USD when in reality I didn't have to pay anything since I made my reservation with Marriott points. In short, my experience here was fatal. I do not recommend a stay at this hotel. Look for another one in the area near the airport."
"The staff was friendly and provide excellent customer service. Evelin and Ella provided exceptional customer service to us. The hotel had a lot of problems during our stay. The first room we were given smelled like mildew and wet carpet. We were moved to a new room but it smelled the same just not as bad. After it rained the next day, the room smelled horrible. There was also spots on the wall in the hallway were it was obvious water leaking. The pool and spa was closed for maintenance almost our entire stay, so we did not get to relax in the hot tub. Their supply truck didn’t come, so they ran out of things for breakfast. The mini fridge in the room only stays on 2 hours after being turned on. Our leftovers spoiled because of this causing us to have to go out and get dinner. The staff was repeatedly apologizing for these things that were not their fault. The hotel needs some serious repairs."
"Please don’t stay here. Pros: Well the only thing this place was had going for them is that the bed was good and they gave us a goodie bag with a water bottle and M&M’s. Cons: Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at, to say it’s by Marriott Bonvoy is horrible. There was no breakfast.. all they had was bread and more bread. No egg or sausage or some kind of meat protein. Upon asking them where is the food, they said they didn’t have any. One of the whole reasons I got this place. Our rooms.. the room smelled like MOLD. You can literally feel the rooms moistness in the air and was terrible air quality. The shower had mold in the cracks and the tile was dirty as heck man. Tried getting a refund for our stay but they didn’t obligate to do so. The noise outside the hotel was so loud too. Constant noise from people revving their engines outside. They didn’t have anywhere to refill water bottles so that sucked as well. The Motel 8 probably would have been a better stay."
