Houston Marriott Medical Center/Museum District

"Coming here for medical, this hotel was the next one suggested because the Rotary was booked out. I was coming from St Agnes in Maryland to MD Anderson for a second opinion. the hotel was amazing, the staff was very friendly and the service both in the restaurant and the room service was excellent. Couldn't have asked for better at a time like this. My sister travelled with me and she had concerns about hotels but she said she forgot all about her concerns once we arrived. I would definitely come back again!"

"We deeply appreciated the Marriott. Lovely hotel, pleasant staff, very nice rooms. Their shuttle service was so helpful to us getting back and forth to medical appointments and the drivers were extremely kind."

"Had a late check in at 8pm. When we went to park was told self parking was closed at 6 for maintenance. Then said I could park 2 buildings away a “5 min walk” if someone is staying in a medical district it’s for a reason. They advised they were comping valet and still charged me. The only reason we booked this hotel was so my kids could make Something good of this trip w the indoor pool. It’s also closed for maintenance. But “don’t worry they have a pool 13 min walk away” at another hotel but also the Jacuzzi is still open on site . Kids tried the jacuzzi and it was ice cold. We called front desk twice no one ever came to fix it. I will say Ashely the night manager did try to the best of her ability to appease for the situation. I also called the front desk and they did remove the charge for valet."

"This is FAR FROM A 4 STAR HOTEL! This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. The training of the staff and management is closer to a 2 star hotel. Not only were there issues checking in at the desk but more importantly a security guard (a "supervisor"!) used an access card to try and come into my room! He said he was there to get a sweater left by a previous guest. He did not even try to knock! What kind of hotel does not train their staff to AT A MINIMUM KNOCK?!! IT WAS 10:30 AT NIGHT!!! I was by myself and it was terribly startling to have someone trying to bust into my room without any warning! A call from the desk would have been appropriate but NOT at 10:30 at night. Management just blew off the whole incident!"

"This hotel was clean and super convenient for anyone needing to visit the area for medical reasons or the nearby college campuses. The hotel was clean and service was great. The best part is they offered a complimentary shuttle service in a 2 mile radius which included hospitals and the lovely Rice Village area for shops and restaurants. It was also close enough to walk to MD Anderson and other campuses as well. I would stay again."
