"Wife and I have stayed here before but thought with remodeling it would be better, nope still same run down 1980 decor bathroom disgusting used airline point and wasn’t worth it. Staff great, also charge 40.00 for park on top of points I used for room."
"The experience I had at this hotel last night was phenomenal. My boyfriend had gone to the rodeo and checked into the hotel while intoxicated. I could not get him to open that door (he was passed out) and was terrified that something had happened to him. His phone was dead he was without a car and intoxicated. I freaked out and went to the front desk where the manager Alan Perez helped me. He went to the room with me and tried multiple things to get in the room. I was frantic and Alan stayed calm the entire time. The hotel was packed with people from the rodeo still partying. Alan still made my boyfriend’s safety his #1 priority despite being extremely busy. It took a while but I was finally able to get in the room. Alan was so kind and was genuinely relieved when my boyfriend was okay. I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciate him and how good of a job he did. Truly an angel in one of the scariest moments of my life."
"I hope someone considers reading this it will be a huge help in deciding. My stay was for 4 days 3 nights, my team and I got rooms for a volleyball tournament. Everything was not amazing at all the photos shown on the front page are not right. They updated a few rooms and took pictures of those it’s very disappointing. I will start with rooms… Rooms: Absolutely not okay! I stayed in the first tower on the fourth floor and as soon as I walked in my room I was astonished at the ratings for this hotel. It should be lower… •The carpet is dated and smells of mold. •The beds are old •The rooms do not have a fridge •No microwave •The curtains are dated and stained •Can’t open windows to let out the heat or steam in the room •The bathroom is the worst thing in the room, -there’s no fan for the shower(because of no fan in the room the hotness that creates steam stays in the room and you can see that because the windows are dripping wet, it’s nasty) - visible mold around the shower and ceiling tiles - ceiling tiles are exactly like the roof of a school and disgusting to have in a bathroom, keeps the nasty smells and contracts molds - the shower is very out of date and nasty spots all over -the water in the bathroom is either extremely hot my teammate burned her skin or it’s extremely cold there is no warm with the water here and same with the sinks - The counter is very small and the water from the sink gets everywhere -the toilets take forever to flush Service: The service was not the greatest. •Checking in was challenging, there were 4 people are the front desk but only one person was allowed to help me. So I waited in line for 40 minutes and then got through the line and to the room. •The food was okay pretty normal for a hotel breakfast, buffet style. •The most weird thing, house keeping will clean your room no matter if you put up do not disturb! I had this happen all 4 days I stayed, so unacceptable. Front desk would not do much about it. • when I got here only 1 elevator worked later that day it was fixed, the elevators take so long to get you to what floor your on. Location: Was good other than long distance to walk to NRG, but if you were to drive to the stadium it would be better. and I recommend driving if you can. •This is a rough and dangerous part of town I was going to a Starbucks near by and it was robbed recent to my stay. •getting in and out of the parking lot could be a tad crazy if you have a bigger suv, or truck, and if there’s a lot of traffic, good luck your not getting in. Roads closed frequently. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will advise people to not stay here. I hoped this helps you make a decision for your stay."
"This hotel needs to be condemned. we checked in after it took 10 minutes to even find the entrance. there was no one there, no cars nothing, so that should have been a red flag but we went in anyway. we checked in and when we walked into the hallway to go to the room, YOU COULD SMELL URINE as soon as u walked in the hallway. The hallway was long and the carper was old and it was like a ghost town. we got to the room and the urine smell got worse. the bathtub had mold in it, the ceiling had mold on it and the doors didn't even close all the way without you pushing it. the bed was old and all we did was put our bags down and try to figure out somewhere else to go. the back door to the outside did not close. there was a man walking around pulling on the door handles and I don't know if he was a guest or just a guy from outside. we did not feel safe, and the room was the nastiest I have ever seen. called the front desk and told her we were checking out and we should not be charged. she was rude and nonchalant and said we wouldn't and if we were just calling the auditor the next day. she gave me the gms card and all the information and guess what I didn't receive a call back, email back or anything BUT THEY DID CHARGE MY CARD. I disputed the charges and they said we stayed in that nasty nasty place for an hour and the bed was messed up (we never even sat on the bed)) and a shower had been used (all we did was turn the shower on to see the color of the water) they are seriously fighting for a payment when they know good and well that place is and was horrible. this company is garbage and basically called me a liar, knowing good and well we didn't stay at that hotel. why would we take a shower in that place when the WHOLE BUILDING needs a shower. ZERO STARS ZERO STARS AND ZERO STARS FOR EVERYTHING. you would do better by sleeping in a gas station bathroom. they only got one-star because it wouldn't let me post if there were no stars."
"Stayed here for a weekend during a football game. The hotel is perfectly located across the street from the stadium. First impression: From the outside the hotel looks nice and the front lobby wasn’t so bad. However there is another hotel that next door to this property. We booked Wyndham and they put us in the other hotel. It was horrible!! So be careful booking the “pool side view” option. We requested another room and the man (I didn’t get his name tried to charge me an extra $75). Finally, our request was granted and we had a room inside of the main hotel. Both properties are dated and smells. Beware of the cracks in the ceiling in the bathroom. Ms. Ann was one of the nicest employees I’ve encountered. Keep her around because definitely greets you with a smile. Also, she lets her guests know about all the amenities. The man who checked is in didn’t inform of anything"
