"Terrible, they claim to have let 3rd party websites know their hot tubs don't work, they didn't let us know at the front desk and the door was also in need of fixing. He came to show us how it could be opened. Very unprofessional and janky, go to the competition it's on the other side of the gas station."

"Beware!!! Although the hotel room was fine, with the exception of hot tub not working in the king hot tub suite, the manager who checked us in was unbelievable. The first thing he said to us was, "I see you like giving bad reviews." It was very awkward and uncomfortable, to say the least. So much so we only checked in, went to dinner, and then came back and checked out all within a few hours. Then went to another hotel down the road. And yes, we gave a review on a recent stay in Galveston, but it wasn't horrible but true. We have also given many excellent reviews in the past. We have spent a lot of money and time with Choice rewards but this was bad."

"I had read some bad reviews before we got there. But our room was fine. Clean. Breakfast was good."

"Room was clean. Tv worked and there was a lot of channels including HBO. Breakfast was good. But that's about all that was good about this hotel. I stayed for 2 nights and there was no cleaning done after first night. Then on the second morning housekeeping showed up at 10am well before checkout time and started opening a door 10 seconds later. I barely managed to yell at them to come back later. Then during second night there were some people making loud noises and cursing loudly until 3am in the morning! I could barely sleep. Checkout experience was rude. I was never asked about my stay. The person at checkout went for a smoke and I had to wait 10 minutes for him to come back. Overall do not recommend. This hotel does not deserve to have Choice hotels brand."

"Front desk was helpful and understood that I was absolutely not going to stay here. He gave me a refund for the price of nights, however I did not get a refund for incidentals. This being said any refund would have been better than staying. I checked in and there was a massive hole in the ceiling in the lobby, first red flag. I went into the room to use the restroom from our long drive and immediately after i closed the door a roach was crawling on the back of it. My fiancé then came in and opened one of the drawers near the mini fridge and there were four bugs we’ve never seen before. We weren’t even comfortable with SITTING on the bed much less sleeping in it. We immediately grabbed our things and went down to get a refund. He was very kind about it and I appreciated the refund. We would’ve rather slept in my vehicle than in that room. The amount of money this place charges is NOT what it is worth."
