"As I am still staying here this is a terrible experience there's construction going on which is waking my toddler up because they are here at 630/7am working on roof and throwing debris down. Called travel to help they contact front desk and Tracy the manager says it's not impacting our stay! She and hotel are crooks and don't stay here so how would she know?! I will be taking this issue further on refund end and corporate for hotel staff the only decent staff is Eric and 1 more but (I don't remember her name when i do ill edit it)nice young man and woman! Don't stay here!"

"The room was fine but they sneak in an extra $12 per day to park your car. That is just a scam. Further, I got charged $100 after the fact for some issue with my room but have no idea what it was. They are just looking to nickel and dime you. There are plenty of other nice hotels right in this area. Go somewhere else."

"Horrible experience. I came in on a red eye with my family. Front desk associate had zero customer service and didn’t have the training necessary to check me in. I provided everything she needed even called customer support for her and she still didn’t know how to check me in. All while I had a screaming baby in the car and two upset pre teens. Showed confirmation email and everything and got nowhere. Checking in ended up taking almost 40 mins in the middle of the night. The crazy part is the associate had a bad attitude with me like it was my fault she didn’t know how to check me in. She should have called a manager or support. I’m a titanium member so I book with Marriott frequently, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. To top it off the whole second floor smelled like cigarettes as we walked to the room. Like someone was puffing Newport’s next to my families face. We didn’t even complete the stay the next day I checked my family out early and booked a hotel at the City Place Marriott in spring."

"My husband is here on work for two weeks so the kids and I came to stay during that time to visit- I will say all the staff we have encountered have been truly amazing- so friendly, kind, helpful and professional, if it wasn’t for the staff…I would have changed our hotel location …we got the 2 room suit which was nice when we first walked in- just hot, we’ve been here for a week so far and the room never gets cool, ever… I like it cold and we’re on the bottom floor… but it never goes under 73/74… and during the day it sits at 75/76 and I’m dying- the fridge never got fully cold either even on the coldest setting.. we had to leave the water, pop and lunch meat in the freezer for hours to actually get cold.. the ice maker didn’t work button was broke off and there was no catch bucket to even put ice in… so we’ve just been buying ice bags from the gas station cause they don’t have ice machines- the pool is small but with littles I was grateful that it’s indoors- the breakfast is not great and they don’t have many options- but my kids just eat waffles eggs and cereal anyways so not too big of a deal- we did buy our own coffee creamer cause I don’t like milk or just plain half n half with coffee… and their options are extremely limited I normally like residence inn but I need a working fridge when we’re staying that long and I absolutely need a room that will get cold… it seems like the air vent in the king bedroom wasn’t working at all, cause the other bedroom with the queen bed felt about 10 degrees cooler… but still not cold enough- we were sweating in the room everyday and the hallways were even worse the hallway thermostat read 78 and I could barely breathe! Besides that, the rooms were clean, I think the carpets need a deep cleaning and the kitchen is outdated but I really don’t care about the cabinets not being updated as long as the room is clean and cold- and it was only clean lol The front desk clerks were absolutely wonderful people tho- day shift and night shift! What a joy they are! If it wasn’t for the staff I would have only given 2 stars"

"Best move I made was bringing my business travel here. I’ve always stayed near the mall and love the location but this hotel was in a very quiet location, still walking distance from the mall. Across the street is 24 hour fitness. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and a huge fully functional kitchen. I was able to fully stock it. Morning breakfast offered was good. No complaints at all. This is now my place to stay for my Houston stops."
