"0 stars needs to be an option in this scenario.. My boyfriend and I were traveling on Friday afternoon when he started experiencing excruciating head pain.. we stopped by the emergency room here and had the worst health care experience of our lives.. The hospital was not busy and it took almost an hour before even a nurse stopped in to check on him. The doctor finally arrived (he was not in scrubs, just regular clothes) and I swear on my life he seemed intoxicated.. he asked the same questions 3 times or more, behaved inappropriately, his eyes were glossy & said “idk this is weird” when we asked what he thought may have been wrong. At this point they still had not administered an IV or anything… Nurses didn’t seem to have a great grasp on what to do either.. we both felt they could not care for him properly and left quickly. DONT STOP HERE."
"Would have been 1 star had the Amarillo people (I'm assuming they were since that's where the bill for them was from) were very nice. Seriously very rude to hear the nurses walking by the room you're in laughing out loud as they discuss what you told reception you thought was the reason you had to come in. Sorry I was trying to find the reason I was I'll so I didn't have to waste the drs time and what I said at checkin was what kept coming up on all the sites. But you didn't have to chat it up to the nurses so they could loudly laugh as they walked by my room. So either they eves dropped and thought it was funny, or reception thought it was funny."
"If I could give negative stars I would. I went in because I stepped into a hole and not even 5 minutes after it was double the size and I was crying in pain. I waiting in the wait room for 15 minutes as the nurses just stood there. Then waiting another 15 minutes to even see a doctor in the room. They couldn’t give me anything for meds until the doctor saw me. Even though I was crying in pain. The doctor saw me and couldn’t even name and bones or tendons in my foot) and said he would give me a shot or something for meds but never did. While I was in X-rays (which the doctor here can’t read. They send them to Amarillo and just read a paper) the doctors and nurses were talking very badly about me which my best friend got a recording of. And when I got back I still didn’t get anything for pain. The doctor and nurses continue to talk badly about me. Finally he walked in said I was fine. GAVE ME A COLD BAG OF WATER AND TOLD THE NURSE HE WAS GOING HOME. The rude nurse gave me a boot for my 10 hour car ride without showing me how to put it on and she didn’t even put it on right. So if you aren’t from Clayton just drive the hour and a half to Texas and see someone there because these people are idiots."
"Rude nursing staff!! They do not care for the well being of the patient. Our family is having such a hard time with the staff to see our grandmother and get medical information from the staff. My grandmother used to be a nurse at that hospital and the staff is rude and mean with her now that she is sick. Some people don't belong in the medical profession if they can't be compassionate and caring in hard times for families."
"Zero stars for this hospital nursing staff is extremely rude and condescending they seem to not care about the patients at all especially if you are an outsider. I wasn't aware being a totally rude and uncaring person was a prerequisite for nursing. Also if you need a covid test they will do it then withhold your results until you pay for them. So much for the pandemic being important."
