"I stayed at holiday inn a couple of weeks ago and it was an amazing visit. I was visiting a friend and I was a wreck when I got there. My card wouldn't work (a defective card come to find out) but through it all Vanessa was patient with me while I figured things out. She was extremely helpful. And all with a genuine smile on her face. Once I got settled in she even checked to make sure that everything was good for me. She helped my stay be a fantastic home away from home. She wasn't just like that with me but another guest was coming through while I was going out and she treated that person with the same warmth and kindness. Showing sincere interest in them! The place was emaculate and Vanessa was wonderful. I will be staying here again!"
"Decent hotel for the money. I have read the other reviews about break ins and theft. It’s Houston. Don’t leave valuables in your car and lock it. Park in well lit areas. We had no trouble and stayed two nights. Breakfast is adequate. Had to ask them to warm up the coffee and they did. Good service and friendly staff. Clean rooms and common areas. Bed was comfortable for us. Road is noisy but that’s location."
"This hotel seems to have a safety concern. I made a reservation and tried to stay here with my children last winter, but there was weed smell everywhere at lobby, and a guest in front of me was crying and said that their car was stolen at the hotel parking. I felt extremely unsafe and ended up canceling the reservation and moved to another hotel that looks safer. The building looks new and great, the staff was super nice and friendly, but, safety is the first concern for families traveling with children. I think this hotel should address this issues first if they want to attract guests."
