Flash Lodge

"I had a great time catching up with my family and reuniting with them at Flash Lodge. The owner left indoor and outdoor games, a great back deck overlooking the lake, and beautiful grounds. The house is dated, but roomy and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans. I was there for the outdoors and was very happy."

"3 stars for the outdoors/outside area alone. Inside...meh. Dated house in dire need of updates. Exorbitant cleaning fee just to have a pillowcase with blood stains. The beds are terrible. Fireplace doesn't work (gas line disconnected and unplugged) outdoor kitchen is a small Weber charcoal grill. They disconnected the propane to the gas grill. (they're making a killing here and can't even replace a gas grill) idk. I could sleep better at a microtel or motel 6."

"The facility is hard to explain in photos. It's beautifully maintained, there is more to do than you expect, and the owners and staff have a fantastic personal touch. They really went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome and valued."
