"The waiting time is out absolutely crazy, BUT, service it is Great Overall, saying that, worth the waiting! Plus overall cost is pretty convenient vs. other Animal Hospitals!"
"Have been called to come back as they were ready for us. Still sitting here. Have been for about an hour and a half!!. We have also gone in and checked as to how much longer we would be waiting. They said there were 3 people ahead of us. Still waiting......People are leaving but no one is being called in. What's with that!? Do they need to hire more Doctor's? Open a second shift? God knows they need to expand the building! It's a shame they are so good. I have been coming here for 53 years and this is getting ridiculous!"
"Shively Animal Hospital does great when you can get in to see a vet. The wait time is ridiculous. You go there. Sign in. And you either wait for hours in the over crowded waiting room or in your vehicle..or you can leave. Go home and wait for a call from the hospital letting you know your turn to be seen will be coming up and then drive back to the hospital. Again. They're great staff. But it can and often is an all day wait..literally."
"1st thing 1st sign in your pet, you will the earlier the better. You can then leave, and go back to the comfort of your home. They call you ahead, and giving 45 minutes to get back to the clinic. My only complaint was I was told 3 different times how many ahead of me, but more people were called instead of me. When I finally got called back, the reason for our visit was an abdominal ultrasound, but I that doctor had left. So the main issue is if I was called back when I was told would that doctor had still been there. Since he was gone I had to leave my cat overnight, make arrangements to pick her up when they gave me the call. The plus side the doctor who discussed my options was very informative, and I thorough. She has suggested a lymphoma blood test also. I wasn't charged for her staying the night. When I went to pick her up there was no wait I was told to come on back. She showed on the ultrasound pictures, and explained that my cats intestines were thick and had groves in them. My baby was sent home with nausea medicine, and a specific pate food for digestion."
