"My husband and I came in with the idea of getting rings (my mother in law had made for us) resized. They were made out of my father in law’s wedding ring. He recently passed a month ago. We also were interested in getting a small gold band to go with that ring for me. We came in. An older gentleman approached us. We told him what we needed. He asked where we got the rings. They were still in the previous jewelry store’s bag and case. We explains the situation. He asked why we didn’t just go back to the place we got them (So much for help). We explain they were made in a place in Texas. He again asked us how we got them. He asked us the same question 3 or 4 different times. He then asked how long my father in law had been dead. He then said this was not gold that had been melted down and made into new rings. He said they were new. We explained it was not. We told him my mother in law had to add more gold to make the rings. He said that was not the case. He said if it was, then it would have been a lot more gold. I’m sorry, how exactly am I supposed to take this? Also, how is this helpful? He sized me incorrectly. Didn’t asks if we needed anything and just told us they would call with the rings. We were there to buy another ring. After we walked out and discussed the interaction, we decided to walk back in and get our rings back. They were too precious and sentimental for some place to ruin them. The way we saw it, if your costumer serves sucks, how can we trust you with something so important to us? We walked back in and told a younger guy we were unhappy and just wanted our rings back. He literally could have not cared any less. All he said is “Sorry. I’ll get your rings”. Skip this place! Go to Shelia Bayes Jewelers. They were literal angels. We ended up getting 2 rings to go with the ring I needed resized!"
"Had an issue with a watch that I recently purchased. Brandon was not only able to fix the issue, but made the watch look even better! Definitely made a new life long customer today, I will be back."
"This is THE place to get engagement and wedding rings. The staff was so kind and patient with us allowing us to look at all the different styles and types of rings. I will recommend Rivard Fine Jewelry to anyone."
"I was excited to visit this jewelry store for the first time today with my husband. I've wanted to have a custom ring made using the stone from my original engagement ring. We were greeted with a friendly smile from the lady at the back of the store and spoken to by another lady close to the entrance. Smiling, I said, "so who wants to help us?" The lady near the entrance (without smiling) said, "it doesn't matter, either one." She was closer, so that's who we chose. I explained the purpose of our visit. She asked some questions and so did I. Just for reference, the solitaire diamond she was showing me at the moment was 1 carat. Maybe 3 minutes into the conversation, she commented that my stone was a "small size." Not wanting to believe what I just heard, I gave ample time for a corrected response. Having worked in fine jewelry myself, I knew that was not a polite thing to say to a customer. Most every woman's diamond engagement ring is a treasure to her and holds great sentiment. After several seconds of silence, and nothing else being said, my polite response was, "it was certainly big enough for me." Then she said that wasn't what she meant. Perhaps she didn't feel well, as she had coughed our direction several times while we were there. For those two reasons, I decided it was best for us to leave. We won't be returning. I don't think our business would have been appreciated there."
"I walked into the store cold. I didn’t know a thing about them. I met Gail immediately and within 5 minutes I found my setting. I’d been searching for 8 years for a setting for my coveted 2.5 carat emerald cut!! Gail was amazing and kind. I had such a great experience! What I will say is that they have more options online. Do your research. The setting I chose for my diamond became my second choice, based on what I found online AFTER purchasing. Wish she would have told me there were other options. I’m a year and a half into my purchase and STILL thinking of the one I found online. I probably won’t go back to them to get it, they were not amenable to that, but I do fully appreciate what I received."
