""I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Hilton Home2Suites. Not only was there no WiFi available for 2-3 weeks, but I also initially received a poor room despite being a Diamant member, with no effort made to switch me or provide the upgrade I was entitled to. Despite multiple requests, it took around 2 weeks for me to be moved to another room. Throughout my stay, I voiced my concerns to various staff members at the front desk, yet none of them escalated the issue to management. While there have been other small things I was not satisfied with during my stay, they are not as important as the major issues I have outlined. The most egregious incident occurred today when I was accused of smoking in my room. I met the general manager, Scott Hampton, who was already present and initiated a discussion about the problem. Initially, I was denied entry to my room on these grounds, but when we eventually entered together, the manager claimed to smell the odor of THCA weed, which is legal in Texas and was purchased from a nearby store. Despite no evidence of smoking, such as smoke in the room or triggered fire alarms, I was slapped with a $250 fee for room cleaning due to the alleged smell. I smelled nothing in the room, and it was just a small amount of THCA weed packed in plastic. The smell would have dissipated after its removal. Furthermore, the general manager asserted that the hotel is drug-free, disregarding the fact that it was just legal weed. Initially, he only mentioned the accusation of smoking without addressing the use of legal weed. To make matters worse, the manager also stated that he didn't want to throw me out and that I could stay the night, which is unacceptable considering I had not smoked or done anything wrong. It’s absurd and disrespectful to hear such remarks as a customer. This experience has left me profoundly disappointed and has tarnished my previously positive perception of Hilton. I urge the management to review their policies and reconsider how they handle guest complaints and accusations.""

"This hotel needs some renovation. Room needed new carpeting, sofa fabric badly frayed, faucet loose, wallpaper coming apart, and air conditioner coming off wall. Disappointing to say the least. Don’t usually have this kind of experience with Home2Suites. Would not recommend this location."

"I had a very nice stay last week. The staff were very welcoming, they acknowledged my diamond status which unfortunately hasn’t been common during my previous hilton stays. The room was nice and spacious with a nice highway view. I like the fully dark blinds, although my window was on the east side the sun was fully blocked early in the morning. Breakfast was good, although they didn’t have many hot items without pork, I would ask the lady working there and she would go and make me something which I greatly appreciated. I wish I remembered her name she deserves a shoutout. The location was excellent as I had to work 5 minutes away and didn’t have to deal with traffic. Great stay overall. I will definitely stay there over the hampton inn across the street which I had a bad experience with back in May."

"PLEASE READ! BED BUGS !! DO NOT BOOK HERE! I had booked this hotel for a last-minute same day stay, I was planning to organize a mini getaway for my anniversary, please note that I’m a gold honors member as I stay on Hilton Hotels very often. To my surprise shortly after I had booked, I started reading the reviews and all the horrible stories from the persons who stayed here before me. After learning this hotel is INFESTED with bed bugs, has a serious cleanliness issue, and have terrible customer service, I knew that I have made a mistake and needed to change my hotel. I immediately called Hilton Honors Customer service; they contacted the hotel who agreed on cancelling my stay due to the concerns I had. To my surprise, about 2 days later, I get a charge on my credit card for 159 dollars in addition to them taking my Hilton points that I had used to book this room. I contacted Hilton Honors again and they contacted the hotel. No manager or anyone was of any help. They pretty much refused to even gives us a reason as of why this was charged. They had absolutely no reason to charge me anything and on top of that keep my points. This is a facility/location that should not even be in business, period. There are bed bugs crawling on the walls, mirrors, the elevator doesn’t work, the pool is disgusting. The list can go on and on, and yet management totally sucks. This is probably the reason why this place is out of compliance. Its been 2 weeks and no one has resolved my concern. The reviews are there and they are shameful, if one person was to bash this location, then I probably wouldn't be paying attention, but there are several reviews with very strong allegations. Its so disheartening that Hilton do this to their customers. This place needs to be shut down especially due to the BED BUGS INFESTATION. You should not be allowed to be in business if you don’t know how to run one !!!! people lays their heads on your beds!!!"
