"Had a week stay here. There were pros and cons. Staff were was hot or miss depending on who you dealt with. Heidi in the restaurant was very nice rem d who I was. Made special eggs for me. Kirsten I think was the Bartender very nice as well. Remembered us and took good care of us. There was another young lady I didn’t catch her name she was super sweet as well and even remembered my husband drink order when he couldn’t think of it. Dinners were decent steak really good. Breakfast not so appealing. Not with 17 dollars. I asked 4 times for quarters for the laundry machines and the front desk had none. Suggested I go to circle K or the bar. I needed a roll not just change for a dollar. That was disappointing. We travel full time and I don’t like to take dirty laundry with me I like it to be clean. This is the first Hilton I have never gotten quarters at. The ac/heat unit in our room 533 sounded awful like it would blow up at times. Woke us up several times then we had to turn it off. The chair legs were about to fall off. Red stain on the carpet, I am hoping it was juice. We stay with Hilton a lot. This double tree didn’t seem like a normal double tree. Warning if you get a balcony, there is no real view but of the storage units. This hotel was never really busy especially for being near an airport. It was close to my husband job that is why we stayed. Oh and the back elevator near our room.. sounded like somebody screaming. I honestly thought there was til I realized it was the elevator."
"The rooms are fine, other than a tad worn. Service at the front desk was great, until I tried to order room service. Apparently in room dining is a “sometimes” thing here according to the front desk. According to Hilton, it should be available between 0700-2200. Diamond member, traveling for work. When I try to order food to my room, it’s because I’ve worked all day and don’t want to be around people, so no, I’m not going downstairs to order or pick up food which is what the front desk suggested. Don’t advertise/ offer a service and not provide it."
"I stayed at this Double Tree for a week and honestly I am so happy I found this place. Other hotels were giving me the run around. I was quickly accommodated by the friendly and professional manager Justus. Prices were also are excellent. I was taken care of from the beginning to the end. The room was super clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower were very clean. Reception was very helpful in directing me to nice bar and club, so my friends and I could have great night out as well. I tried food room service as well and in 20 min was delivered to our room! Overall I had the a great stay in DFW and the Texas Rangers won the World Series as a bonus. I couldn’t ask for a better stay."
"Great front desk service. The staff really define customer service. The rooms are nice. I can tell updates have been done. Attention to detail, the cleanliness of the rooms improved. I’ve stay here 2xs on separate occasions. Cons sometimes the traffic is horrible getting there. They finally have a restaurant there which is great! All of the changes and improved ambiance of the hotel has definitely been a huge improvement! I’m definitely booking another staycation here! Thanks to the staff and guest service managers for making my trips feel 5 star!"
"We recently stayed here to attend a Rangers game. Our stay had some pros, but there is definitely room for improvement. PROS: location (close to Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium, Six Flags, etc), cold AC, well-lit parking lot, great front desk service, very comfortable bed CONS: no free breakfast; the hot water wasn't working. We were exhausted, so we took a shower anyway before notifying the front desk around 11pm. At 9am the next morning, there was still no hot water. When we notified the front desk at checkout (around 9:45 or so), we were told that the water issue had been rectified around midnight the night before and "was probably just getting back to normal". If the issue had really been fixed, it would seem that there had been ample time for the hot water to be usable again. The room was a little small, but doable. However, there were exposed wires by the AC unit and the bottom piece of the AC was falling off (pics attached). The nook area beside the AC was very dirty and the carpet didn't feel clean. There was quite a bit of dust on the light fixtures beside the bed. Additionally, the body wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower were all empty. Not a huge deal since we did bring our own, but pretty disappointing. I slept pretty well due to being super tired, but my husband said he could hear hallway noise most of the night. I feel that with some additional attention to detail, these issues can be easily rectified. However, we would not choose to stay here again."
