"This Hospital is a joke .The Nurses here are very rude yelling in patients room to each other in the Emergency room and The ICU is negligence is outrageous. I will think twice in bringing your loved ones here for any Thing. Please look at Reviews and hear what people say about these hospitals cause it can turn out they will use up your insurance and be billed for meds not used .I would ask for a itemized bill and ask alot of questions ."
"Brought my grandmother here after she fell and broke her wrist and hip. From the ER, to her admission, the doctors, and especially the nurses. I can’t say enough great things. The nurses have been so polite and understanding with her. And so caring. The doctors took their time to explain her procedure. And the case manager was phenomenal too! We will always come here for any hospital needs."
"My hospital experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Arriving around 2 am on a Tuesday due to an inflamed gallbladder, I endured a series of distressing events. Initially, despite being told I needed admission by a doctor at another location, I was left waiting in a back hallway until 6 am, when I was finally moved to a crowded area with other patients. The lack of privacy and the medical staff discussing patient conditions openly only added to my discomfort. Feeling neglected and in pain, I expressed my intent to leave, prompting staff to relocate me to an ICU room. Later that day, I was informed of a scheduled surgery for 5 pm. Despite meeting the surgeon beforehand, the pre-op process felt rushed, with little regard for my concerns or preferences. Following surgery, I was placed in an unknown room, struggling to reach my belongings and feeling ignored despite multiple calls for assistance. The situation escalated when a nurse, overwhelmed and unprofessional, yelled at me for asking for help. It took multiple requests before any assistance was provided, and even then, it was minimal and inadequate. My sister had to intervene and speak with the charge nurse due to the appalling treatment I received. Throughout my stay, there were alarming instances of negligence, such as the incorrect administration of medication and the doctor's failure to address my concerns about pain management, despite my medical condition. Despite encountering a few compassionate individuals, such as Nurse Ro and patient relations representative Matthew, the overall experience was marred by incompetence and indifference. Even basic communication regarding medication changes was mishandled, putting my health and insurance coverage at risk. In summary, my time at this hospital was marked by a series of distressing incidents, lack of communication, and disregard for patient well-being. I strongly advise against seeking medical care at this facility."
"Waited over 6 hours trying to get the neuropathy pain in my feet under control. They wouldn't do it. My feet hurt to the touch and they wanted me to get an ultrasound done. I didn't refuse, I just said not until they get the pain to stop first. Only 2 people in that place was courteous and they were the ones taking blood. The rest of the staff was rude, crude and socially unacceptable. Do not go to this place unless you like being in pain."
"I just got out of the day surgery unit. I was actually there last year but both times these were the sweetest people and they were so kind and professional. I was at another day surgery last year also and they were very kind but they were so slow. Today I was first patient at 0700 relatively fast process minimal paperwork that and bloodwork is done a few days before. The phlebotomist was very good. I didn’t even feel it that was relatively fast in an hour. I had a kidney stone two years ago and I had to go to the ER during Covid although it was a very long wait, it went fast once I got in there people were very kind and professional I would recommend Memorial Hermann Humble."
