"Good day I am writing this review on behalf of my friend Keila Arambula who was very upset at her appointment today at this medical facility. She was told to come to this place for her mammogram. As she was in the back waiting for the doctor... the very rude tech took her back and told her one test they had to do. Thinking it was for one area of concern on her body from what her paperwork said my friend said they told her it wasn't. So now she is completely confused as to what is going on did they make a mistake like is it the left one or the right one??( I will leave out the particular area on her body for purposes of her privacy) The tech was very rude with her and as a matter of fact this time was worse than the first time she was with the same lady and she was extremely unprofessional, unkind, and had a severe matter of fact attitude like she didn't care. She made my friend feel like she was stupid because she was asking her questions concerning the diagnoses that my friend should know and the tech should know the answers to these questions herself. My friend is very upset and very doubtful that they know what they're doing as they told her one area of her body where they found something concerning and then turn around to say no it was the other one. This is extremely unacceptable and now she is so upset as to one of the reasons why she couldn't write this review herself. She doesn't ever want to go there again and the tech that treated badly her should not be working in the medical field as her mannerisms need a lot more work she needs to know how to talk to people and how to treat them as well. My friend pays excellent insurance to see these doctors and for her to be treated this way and feel now even more concerned than ever is unsettling and makes her very nervous. Communication is key especially dealing with medical issues concerning your health. She is very upset about all of this. It is bad enough when we have a diagnosis that gives us a little bit of a scare and then when you go back to continue with your appointment and what's going on with you they're telling you one thing when it was something else and now you're all confused about what your diagnosis really is... Do they even know what they're doing. I don't know who the owner of this practice is but I need you to know that you need to do a check concerning the people who work for you and especially that tech who was unfortunately getting my friend prepared to see the doctor. My friend was there before for the first appointment she had and she was rude and nasty then and I just thought well maybe she's having a bad day but when my friend went back today for her appointment she was worse!!!!! Also wanted to add the main one who had the attitude was the lady who was doing my mammogram was nasty and rude to me. She act like she didn't want to halfway talk to me or communicate anything going on. The one who did my sonogram was very, very to me kind and I had no issues with her at all!!! Keila Arambula wanted to make sure I expressed that the woman doing her sonogram was amazing and was very good and knows how to speak to people in a professional manner. I would like to know how this is going to be resolved and I hope she never treats anyone the way she treated my friend with the behavior she had again. "Had an ultrasound done and it was a very pleasant experience. They get you into the room quickly, and the women performing the ultrasound are very friendly and explain everything as you go."
"I never had my initial appointment due to a text from here saying my pre-authorization wasn't approved yet and to verify if it is before coming. It was denied 3x by my insurance due to my Primary Dr notes contradicting the GI Dr. I apparently was rescheduled w/o my knowledge and recieved the text again about the pre-auth not being approved so not to come unless verified it is approved which it never was. This was in September 2022. Then I get a bill today 9/17/22 for 9/12/22 saying final notice when I never used them. They want 29.98 now or hit my credit while I'm in closing on a house. They didn't send one other notice. Didn't even wait 30 days. Told me not to come unless the pre-auth was approved. I have all pre-auth's by South TX Radiology as denied on every one by Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas. Why am I charged 29.98? Why say final notice 5 days from the statement date? Threatening my credit? I'm reporting to BBB, Federal Trade Commision, Texas Attorney General and Medical Review Board about this predatory extortion."
"Go Somewhere Else. I’m a regular to a different strict office but decided to go here because it was near my work. I arrived 15min prior to my scheduled appt and didn’t get seen until past an hour. From start to finish it took 2 HOURS!!!! How can someone be so inconsiderate of somebody else’s time. An apology doesn’t fix the problem. Other patient that arrived after me was called in before me. When they called me in to get dressed I still had to wait sitting in the dressing room. After telling the guy who was completing the scan that I was a hard stick he still struggled. I have received countless pokes for testing, cancer treatment etc. this is probably top worst for me. Spiteful attitude when it came to answering questions. I left even more uncomfortable when I saw the same guy who gave me my scanning gown to dress into just relaxing in the same room (room behind the window that oversees the MRI machine with patient) with the guy who was completing my scan. No urgency. Never again. If you get anxiety for completing any type of scan I do not recommend. The staff doesn’t take into consideration that waiting can sometimes be mental torture to some patients."
"Great customer service! Every staff member I encountered was very polite, kind and had a smile on their face. My appointment was at 12:40pm for ultrasounds. Highlights from my visit: •I received 2 confirmation phone calls prior to my appointment. •On the day of my appointment they were running behind. I received a phone call two hours before with an update that they were running behind, apologies that they were running behind and was asked if coming in an hour later worked for me. •New appointment time was 1:30pm. At 1:37pm I hadn’t arrived at my appointment. I received a call to check if I was coming. Thankfully they called because I was at the wrong location. I arrived at 1:52pm... although they had a full schedule they worked me in. I was seen at 3:00pm. •The lady that preformed all of my ultrasounds was extremely nice and communicated with me every step she took and explained why she was doing what she was doing. All in all I was comfortable and felt taken care of here."
