"My mom had an MRI appointment with STRIC at their NW Imaging center this morning and she was quite a nervous wreck due to claustrophobia. But from check in to check out had nothing but amazing things to say. Jamie and Ruby were awesome and Jamie did all she could to get that auth approved in a timely manner which we so grateful for and Jimmy made her nerves at ease with his kindness and compassion. My mom was able to complete the MRI with no issues and I will forever be thankful to STRIC for they have always taken care of my family! ❤️"

"It will not matter if your appointment was set since couple of weeks ago or how early you arrived, the wait time is ridiculously high. Today is my second visit here in 2 months, I decided to checkin an hour early because the last time I waited for over an hour before they finally took me in. And wait for at least another 15minutes in the room before they did the procedure. Well, I have been sitting in the waiting area for an hour and a half now. The waiting room isn’t even close to half full so I don’t know what their problem is."

"terrible service and they sent me a bill after i was told that i was only responsible for my copay. the radiologist missed a 12mm kidney stone stuck in my urethra. i was in excruciating pain for over 3-wks and had spent 12-days worried out of my mind that i possibly had bladder cancer as the med clinic doctor had suggested based on my symptoms. it was the urologist that had told me that the radiologist missed the kidney stone stuck in my urethra. 2-days later i had surgery to have it broken down and removed. the med clinic doctor had followed up with me and i shared with him my experience and story and the fact that i was insulted by getting a bill from them after an obvious case of medical malpractice and neglect. he later called me again and told me that he spoke with the radiologist and that he replied that they would not bill me for the service. well…i just received another bill from them. this has pissed me off to the point where im considering further action…what do you think?"

"DO NOT BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENTS at this location or at any South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. If your doctor requests for you to get imaging done at one of their centers, do some research and find another location/branch covered by your insurance. I got a $700 bill mailed to me and this was not cost discussed with me on the front end. I've gone to other imaging centers and they've had open communication with me on the cost of testing - South Texas did not. I spoke to my insurance and they let me know South Texas should've had a conversation with me and no bill that high should just be under assumption that the patient will be ok with. I spoke to South Texas Radiology Leaders and got a "too bad so sad" response. If you are going to imaging centers, reminder to ASK how your test will be billed and if falls under co-pay or will be covered by insurance. South Texas will not be on your side when it comes to this. GO ELSEWHERE."
