"I am extremely upset after my mammogram in this facility. A technician asked me if I was ok with her being an observer as she was in training and I said of course, but I never expected to be treated thus. The technician in charge NEVER talked to me or addressed me during the visit, she only talked to the trainee and referred to me as if I was not in the room, she would talk to her only and say things like “you can make the patient bend to put the tissue in place” or “you make them move forward to accommodate the breast” right in front of me, proceeded to position my breast and then ask the trainee to “try it yourself” for a second time, and if the trainee couldn’t do it then the technician would do it a third time, for SEVERAL takes, during the duration of my appointment. I didn’t speak up because i was in shock for such treatment. Towards the end I found my voice and told them I didn’t want my breast to be touched three times and they stopped, but that was the very last take. I feel violated and I cried all the way home, I was not treated like a person but like a thing, I was never asked permission for another person to touch my body and felt completely humiliated while in a vulnerable situation. One thing is to have an Observer in a room an another to let this trainee to touch my body and practice on me without my consent. I only agreed to her presence, not to have a whole training on my person, touching and manhandling my breasts. Those technicians shouldn’t be working there if they have no regard of the patients comfort, dignity, or consent to unnecessary touching of their breasts."

"Facility and front staff are awesome but the techs in the back need more guidance. Their direction on how the screening was supposed to go and what to expect was horrible."

"I had been to another STRIC location with no issues, but this location has poor customer service. Two weeks in a row I showed up to my appointment to be told they couldn’t see me because they didn’t have orders. The first time they did not tell me the issue while scheduling the appointment and the second time my doctor’s office had confirmed the orders were sent that week. They do not respect patients’ time. Would look for another location."
