"For our needs the location was great. Front desk guy Carl maybe was awesome lots of knowledge and really friendly just what you want out of a desk clerk. The problem was the room. It was clean enough but windows were open with no screen and we able to close it but the wind whipping outside was sooooooo loud it was unreal. Plus we were on the side near th road and there was a lot of road noice. I think this would be a great place if you were on the other side of the building. They also had a really wonderful breakfast!!!"

"Good hotel in close proximity to main street Roanoke which is full of restaurants and charm. Unfortunately hotel stay was NYE so patrons were noisy and sleep quality was lot good."

"Best hotel I've stayed at in the area. My family are up that way 2 to 3 times a year and have stayed in several different hotels over the past 3 years. By far the cleanest. I've been in the cleaning industry for 25 years with 4 of those being a house keeping manager so I know what and where to look for issues and nothing was found. I even had clean feet after walking barefoot in the room. Definitely going to be our go to hotel when in the area."

"This place was absolutely terrible . Carl at the front was the only friendly staff. We stayed for a week business trip. During check in the older lady gave us a hard time because we paid with a company card and made us pay incidentals out of pocket because “policy”. My boyfriend said no problem so he would pay the $200 plus from his personal debit card , and the older lady says “well Let me tell you how much it is first because you might change your mind “insinuating we didn’t have money, AND after acting as if we stole the card we already paid with online even though we had on our company, clothing and badge with our names and company name. The breakfast was terrible. Bugs were everywhere, stains were everywhere, even after we had to switch rooms. The first room they gave us smelt terrible and they left an old roll of tissue and folded the ends as if that was going to make things better. The excuse was “they had a full house the night before for a truck show so they probably weren’t able to clean properly. I will be contacting corporate with a detailed message about this experience since it won’t fit here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY."

"The rooms are fairly big, considering, although the cleanliness is somewhat suspect. But one of the reasons I choose a hotel is whether breakfast is provided. Of the 3 hotels that I've stayed at this past week, this one is the worst. Not a lot of choices. The sausage links were gray and unappetizing. There were none of the ubiquitous sweet breakfast rolls that I find everywhere else. Coffee was weak, and if you wanted cold water, you had to go out to the lobby for it, which I didn't know until afterward. In the workout room, the treadmill belt kept slipping. This hotel needs updating and to pay more attention to details."
