MedExpress Urgent Care

"We've had to visit a couple times over the last couple weeks, we never waited longer than 15 minutes, the nurse is nice, once you get in a room the doctor is quick to come see you. My only complaint is the receptionist. As soon as we walked in the door, she told us "all those people are ahead of you." I took it as a passive way to try and make us leave. She had earbuds in while checking us in. Her attitude said that we were inconveniencing her or she plain didn't want to be there also, she was wearing gloves but was sanitizing her gloves between patients instead of changing them lol"

"When registering I informed the clerk we were there to have my son’s ears checked for a possible infection. I paid my copay, did the initial check up, and when the PA came in she said he had too much wax. I asked her to try to remove it and she said they could not as “they did not have the tools for pediatrics”. Waste of time and money!"

"I was directed to come here for a drug screening, this was my first time there. The female who checked me in was nice. Once I was called for the screening the assistant seemed bothered. She told me to open the cabinet for her and grab what I was going to use.. this was said in an arrogant tone. once I left the restroom and handed her my cup , she stared at it looking disturbed … and told me to “ grab a napkin “ and wiped all around it as there was nothing there and the napkin was dry. Once it was done she put my paper down and started walking off as she tells me have a goodnight with her back turned to me. This visit was very unprofessional, this is not how a patient gets treated nor spoken to. This employees name was Quantia."

"I had a very pleasant experience. The staff member who checked me in was very nice. I didn't have to wait long (5-10 minutes) to be called to the back. The young lady that did the test was very friendly and thorough. I would definitely go to MedExpress again if I needed to. Highly recommend this place."

"I came in for a drug test and a physical for a new job. I had to make an appointment at 6 and was called back at 6. The nurse did the drug test and took me back to the room. Asked some basic questions and told me the provider would be with me shortly. At this time it’s 6:15. I waited. And waited. And waited. The whole time I’m hearing the staff talk thankfully about nothing too terribly important. I literally heard the entire conversation! The nurse barges in looked at me surprised and said oh! The doctor will be in shortly! Then leaves and tells everyone else I’m still there. She thought the doctor had already seen me. She comes In 2 minutes later offering me a bottle of water while I wait. I politely declined. The whole time I’m hearing the doctor completely confused about how she couldn’t see me on her end of the computer program. Apparently I had already been “taken off”. The front desk lady admitted she did it. The doctor came in and was very apologetic and made sure she did her part quickly. At this point it’s 7 o’clock. I finally left shortly after that. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I know it was an honest mistake. However a little communication goes a long way."
